Project | Valentine's Gnome Tree

My little gnome village on the piano needed a little something to dress up their area, so I made them a Valentine’s Day tree.

I used cardstock, HTV, and faux leather.

I started with a 18 inch paper mache cone, I then wrapped it with Valentine’s garland. I use hot glue to attach the garland.

I then selected my designs from the IdeaStudio Library. Once those were selected I added an offset to each one. The offset in the project is black, but I left it black so it’s easily visbile on the screen, the white background doesn’t show as well.

Then I cut the offsets on white faux leather.
Next I cut the gnome and heart designs out of HTVRONT Valentine’s Day pack HTV.
I used my mini-press on medium to iron the HTV onto the faux leather for 10-15 seconds.
To attach I used pipe cleaners cut into 4 pieces and attached each end of the pipe cleaner to the back of the faux leather and the other end to the base.

For the sign on top, I used cardstock as the base. The design and words are HTV and again used my mini press on medium for about 15 seconds to transfer it to the cardstock . I’m not happy with the sign at the top so may find a bit differnt way to display it maybe in the middle, but there are lots of options.
