Some cards just radiate joy the moment you look at them — and this one is absolutely bursting with colour and personality. With its bold checkerboard border, vibrant rainbow hearts, and that sweet, simple sentiment front and centre, this card is the perfect reminder that handmade doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.
This design is all about contrast and playfulness. The black background makes every heart pop like neon chalk on a blackboard, while the crisp white sentiment strip keeps the message clean and eye‑catching. It’s the kind of card that works for anyone — a friend, a partner, a child, or someone who just needs a little colour in their day.
It’s a fantastic project for beginners and seasoned crafters alike — especially if you’re experimenting with colour palettes or want to use up scraps of cardstock.
