Santa’s Lost Credit card

** Step-by-Step Guide to Sublimate Santa’s Lost Credit Card

Items Needed:

  • Aluminium sublimation business cards
  • Sublimation paper
  • Heat tape
  • Sublimation printer
  • Heat press (clam or auto preferred)
  • Heat gloves
  • Teflon sheet
  • Heat-resistant mat (or glass chopping board)

Instructions:

  1. Purchase a Santa Lost Credit Card Design Template
Find and purchase a suitable template for the “lost Santa’s credit card.”

  2. Modify the Design:
Open your design software (e.g., Affinity Photo) and adjust the design. Arrange it on the canvas and duplicate it (e.g., 6 cards per sheet).

  3. Print the Design:
Send the design to your sublimation printer. Remember to mirror the design before printing.

  4. Set Up the Heat Press:
Turn on the heat press. Set temperature to 190°C (374°F) and time to 60 seconds.

  5. Prepare the Cards:
After printing, place the aluminium cards onto the printed design. Secure with heat tape to prevent shifting.

  6. Sublimate the Front of the Card:
Place a Teflon sheet on the heat press bed, then place the printed design (design side up) on top. Add another Teflon sheet on top of the design and press for 60 seconds at 190°C.

  7. Cool the Cards:
Use heat-resistant gloves to handle the hot cards. Place them on a heat-resistant mat or glass chopping board to cool.

  8. Remove the Cards:
Once cooled, flip over the printed design and remove the cards.

  9. Sublimate the Back of the Card:
Repeat the process for the back design—print, place, tape, press, and cool.

  10. Final Product:
After both sides are sublimated, you’ll have a finished “Santa’s Lost Credit Card.”

Enjoy your festive creation!
