EDIT
So we kept after the guy we bought it from. After hubby telling him we will be returning the laser cutter to him, he finally said he did have all the items we were missing. Picked everything up this morning. Thanks all for your input!
Very frustrated, got this laser machine for hubby second hand, wasn’t used. When we went thru the contents of the package we discovered there was no SD card or reader. Been going back & forth with LokLik and getting nowhere. Does anybody know where I can get these items?
Thanks in advance!
I am confused did the person you got it from second had inspect what was in side first? I am not sure if they sell just the Ed card for the machine or not. Maybe if you have contact with who ever you got it from they can give you the order number to help with customer service to know the order it’s attached to.
Yeah, it sounds like you need to definitely talk to the person you bought it from. I’m sure Loklik can’t help because you didn’t buy it from them. You can buy SD cards from Amazon, if it’s just a standard micro SD card and reader.
I need the SD card that comes with the laser cutter, it has the info from the machine for using programs I believe.or if I am incorrect, can somebody who has knowledge on this let me know?
The original purchaser keeps telling me they don’t have one.
@rinsky, can you shed some light on this situation? Is there supposed to be an SD card that has program information on it for the iEngrave? They bought their machine from someone who bought it then sold it to them, but it didn’t have an SD card.
Yeah, I did a little research on it. I guess, if the person who sold it doesn’t have it, their best bet would be to get that order number.
I, personally, would’ve made sure everything was in the box before I bought it from the individual, or, like you said, have the individual give me the order number so they could find the order and maybe send a replacement. This one’s a difficult one.
Hi and welcome to the community, @tmpassaro! Oh no — that’s such a frustrating situation, especially when you’re trying to get everything set up for your husband. The iEngrave should include an SD card, since that’s where the driver is stored and it needs to be inserted into the machine each time you use it. I’d recommend reaching out to the seller to see what options you have, especially if the machine is still under any kind of warranty or return window.
Thank you @Judi_B and @Samantha_Bryant for tagging me. And I’m so sorry I didn’t catch this sooner — I’m still battling these colds and feeling pretty rough with all the coughing.
