I have a friend that lost a family member last year to suicide. These past two Septembers, she has asked me to make her a shirt in honor of her father. She tends to send me an example but it’s the wording that she usually likes. The example she sent this year had no impact and I couldn’t get behind it so I asked her to let me do what I do. This is what I came up with - bad lighting, I know. Please share any items that you may have made for awareness. As creators, we can make an impact.

I’ve been making designs for social and political (rights) causes for years, that’s what my designs has mostly talked about last decade. My little shop is focused only on that. I think that design can become Art when it talks about human matters.

This is such a major issue and in the last couple of years I think the awareness has grown more. I love the shirt you made for your friend, it’s very powerful and sending a great message.
@Judi_B I love the tumbler with the ribbon and both hands gripping each other. It’s so meaningful. A lot of the time I think sometimes if they just had someone to walk with life with maybe they would still be here.
