Crafting it’s definitely my stress reliever, I love to create beautiful things it gives me a sense of purpose and it empowers me because I get to do what I love while earning a little money and that way I can help cover some expenses. It helps me and I can help my husband :grin: it’s a win win situation!!

Absolutely—crafting is my reset button when life feels overwhelming. Sometimes just organizing my materials or prepping a workspace helps me feel a little more grounded, like I’m reclaiming control one vinyl sheet at a time.

When I’m really stressed, I lean into simple, repetitive projects—layering HTV, prepping blanks, or even just testing color swatches. It’s not about finishing something big; it’s about giving my brain a break and letting my hands do the thinking.

That said, I also honor the days when I just can’t. I walk away, breathe, and come back when the spark :star2: returns. Crafting is my safe space, not a pressure zone—and that mindset has helped me stay creative even through tough seasons.

Thank you for sharing so openly—July sounds like it asked a lot of you emotionally. It’s powerful that you recognized when crafting wasn’t the right outlet and instead leaned into cleaning and organizing. That kind of self-awareness is a quiet strength.

I totally get the comfort in tidying up—especially the craft space! There’s something about restoring order in a small corner of our world that helps soothe the chaos elsewhere. And sometimes, just clearing that space is the first step toward finding inspiration again.

Sending you calm and creativity as you move into August. You’re doing beautifully, even on the hard days. :yellow_heart:

That’s such a beautiful way to describe it—crafting as both empowerment and purpose. I love that it brings you peace while also helping support your family. That’s the kind of win-win that makes every project feel extra meaningful!

It’s amazing how creativity can be both a personal refuge and a practical tool. You’re not just making beautiful things—you’re building something powerful with love and intention. Keep shining and crafting your way through the tough days and the joyful ones! :muscle::sparkles:

Your story is so moving—thank you for sharing it. It’s incredible how crafting becomes more than just a hobby when it helps you manage something as challenging as chronic pain. The way you describe designing with warm tones and soft illustrations feels like a gentle kind of healing, both emotionally and physically.

That moment of joy when a design turns into a finished piece—that’s pure magic. It’s beautiful that crafting gives you relief, purpose, and fulfillment all at once. You’re not just creating—you’re transforming pain into art, and that’s deeply powerful. :sparkling_heart:

Wishing you continued comfort and creativity. Your passion truly shines through every project!

Oh yes, love, your words are wise. If crafting is the reset button, as rinsky said, cleaning and organizing is the filler of the emergency battery you need to fill to have the strength to push that button xdd

Sending a bit of my own reserve battery to you in this hard moment < 333

They say crafting is cheaper than therapy… but if you love it as much as I do, that’s highly debatable! :joy:

My craft room is definitely my happy place—but let’s be honest, crafting isn’t always sunshine and glitter. One little hiccup and suddenly that “quick” project takes all day.

Oddly enough, organizing my craft room is what truly calms me down. Maybe it’s a control thing—but there’s just something so soothing about everything being in its place, neat and ready to inspire the next creative burst.

 Health is free in Europe and many other countries, so therapy is free and crafting is not hahaha

I’m sure crafting is way more effective, that’s very true
