Hi Community!
It’s Tuesday again, which means it’s time to chat.
Some weeks just feel like too much. Work’s piling up, your brain’s running on low battery, and all you want is five minutes of peace. When that happens, do you turn to crafting?
Does crafting help you feel better when things get stressful, or do you find it hard to even start when you’re overwhelmed?
Maybe you have a go-to project that calms you down. Maybe just prepping your materials already makes you feel a bit more in control. Or maybe you just walk away and come back to it later.
Whatever your way of dealing with the chaos, we’re curious how crafting fits in when life gets messy. Let’s talk.

Crafting is my stress reliever cheaper than therapy and way more glittery. Every time I buy a new machine or even just a fancy piece of paper, it’s like my inner crafting beast wakes up and goes: ‘It’s showtime!’. Suddenly I’m cutting, sticking, printing like there’s a crafting apocalypse coming.
Oh yes! Not only works as stress reliever but also help you move ahead on the down moments. If you ever touch the bottom ground, there’s nothing better than keeping yourself bussy with any goal or project. Crafting or art projects have the plus of being pure joy away from problems most of the time.
I find peace in crafting… nothing like getting in the zone for making new things! plus the pure bliss when you finish a project, that sense of accomplishment.
though, also as a procrastinator at times, I get stressed when I am at a deadline hahaha but it’s my fault for putting things off up to the last minute
The saddest part of my life hahahaha that i need to fold this a lot of shirt after pressing in loklik v2:rofl: while ours is waiting to be folded too still im relieved
Crafting as a stress reliver hmmm…
I think I’m more of hoarding or buying crafting stuff as a stress reliver when I see my beautiful craft machines and materials collections
I lose myself in my crafting, my hubby has to come and get me so I actually have something to eat! I also love organising my craft supplies, which I’ve been doing today.
I am lucky enough to have a purpose built Craft Cabin, but… I’ve outgrown this space, I’ve had to move all my sewing paraphernalia to a spare bedroom as my other craft supplies have multiplied! Ah well, it makes me happy
Crafting is my therapy, is where I find my peace… siting on the computer to make a project or get lost in a paper mountain for me is the best part of my week
In my experience, crafting can be a stress reliever. But it depends on the project. I tend to over commit to a new project and instead of testing it out with patience, I go all in. Thankfully, many of the times, things work out great but there are a few times that have been a complete mess!! Lol, that is part of learning and trying to be patient. During those times, I have music blasting in order to relax and get back on track. My go to project to just craft, would be creating paper flowers. They come so easily now and just help me relax.
Sometimes, anxiety overwhelms me, and I need a breath to feel whole again. That’s when I turn to weeding HTV. It calms my chaos, heals my mind, makes my heart smile, and reminds me of what I’m capable of. In that moment, I create magic—and I come back to myself.
This post really speaks to me today. It’s like you read my mind @OliviaZzz
I have had a very stressful month of July. Lot’s of family stress and overwhelming emotional days. My go to stress reliever is normally crafting. But I think with the high stress levels and then the huge emotional days I was just exhausted and couldn’t find inspiration to craft. So when things get that bad I clean and organize. Don’t know why but cleaning and organizing things in my house helped my brain deal with everything that was going on. Yes, I did organize and clean my crafting space of course.
