I would have to say cardstock!!! It’s been some time that I have bought so much cardstock but it’s because I bought so much at 1 time that I still have a big supply. Some crafters may remember how Michael’s would have the 5 packs for $10 (this was during COVID). I bought boxes and boxes full of cardstock and it was delivered right to my doorstep!!! Who can say no to that deal?!?! I sure couldn’t. It is not 2025 and I still have plenty of packs, just to give you an idea of how crazy my buy was in 2020.
Lovely collection
It sounds like you are like me To help with your scraps, well what helped me was to put them in file organizers that I keep in my draw. I organize by color so you can always find the color you want. I also have two one for HTV and one for vinyl. I don’t have these exact ones but it is very similar. Might help someone else with organizing their scraps as well. Bigger craft would help us to
Oh, you are @Stacey_Katona, at this point I think I may be a bad influence to you though
Congratulations to @redhada, @InkiteeWorkshop and @Jobelle_Pascual
I love reading this thread here. I’ve been buying everything you guys mentioned already from pens, gel pens, pencils, tapes (all sort of tapes you asked it, I have it!), all kind of vinyls - you named it!, beads, cords, elastic bands, buttons, zippers, cardstocks, notebooks, scissors, mats, to machines, and many more to mention. Also, I got a ton of fabrics too! (I am a hoarder
) I won’t be sharing any picture in here but just imagine it inside behind my Dreambox well organized - the reason why my husband bought it to begin with 'coz when I bought something I always put them inside the drawers fully loaded and when the time I need it, I can’t find it and only to find out it was buried down below after I bought another of the same kind again. All I can say to myself, “Ooooops! I did it again!”
Now, I am so happy with my organization 'coz I know what I already have and don’t have. I know their places exactly where they are right now specially using the old vinyls first before the new vinyls of the same kind.
I love your craft room. Mine never looks this tidy, always have boxes of stuff that I am reviewing that doesn’t have a spot yet.
How do you store your fabric. I have mine in big plastic containers, one on top of each other. It’s not ideal, can’t find anything so then I just buy more hahahaha
@skyicreations & @prinsesaian I too have a great love of cardstock and a huge pile of it.
How do you store all that cardstock @skyicreations. You create absolutely beautiful things with it so I’m sure it’s totally fine to have that much cardstock
Thank you . For the meantime, (but not too long hopefully??) I stored them in a long flat storage bins and some bins for my fabrics below:
I bought 2 free standing cabinets last year and haven’t assembled it yet.
This is how it looks like when assembled:
I have one in my kitchen right now, I love it so I bought extra 2 for my fabrics and maybe ended up buying another 2 again?
Oh those cupboards are gorgeous. I may have to buy some for my fabric. Yes my fabric is in the same plastic tubs. It’s annoying finding anything.
I bet and I can really relate! Buy more when we don’t want to dig under the bottom of the bins. Hahaha
That dream box really is a dream to look at I really need to win the lottery so I can jave a craft house (not just acraft room)
Thank you
thanks @redhada its always nice to get a mention, I’m gonna end up with a big head lol
I can only dream of a crafting space like this!
for now embracing the chaos of my small space
good way to organize, I’ve also seen some crafters use binders with separate envelopes inside to store scraps
thanks for the shout out @OliviaZzz it definately was a funny read through the comments lol congrats to @redhada @Jobelle_Pascual
You will have soon! Just manifesting it
Oooh, wow ! Would that be so nice to win in a lottery
thanks a lot @rinsky I love it it here, it beats Facebook hands down!
The paper invaded my garage, lol. I use the wooden cube organizers and put the unopened pack in there and use them as the table “legs” for my wood shop area.
