Oh it was glorious, a life time of craft supplies just laid out beautifully. I was like wow, this is my craft room dream. Maybe one day
I know what you mean, and it really gets to you. I packed my Crafter away for months while doing up the conservatory.
However, my wife wanted our names on some tumblers for our holiday last month, so the Crafter had to go on the dining table… and it’s staying there until the conservatory’s finished and I get a proper desk for it!
Hope you get sorted soon. ![]()
That’s an amazingly beautiful episode, lovely from your ans her side ![]()
I’ve lives abroad twice and both times I only could take with me travel materials. One of the times it was no problem, not late I could had my house decorated with the more bizarre stuff, but I still love it when I remember it. The other one, was not so pleasent, it was very hard to find anything I could afford or revamp, even if I was trained to craft un war conditions (
), so I got shelter in my drawings and travel molesquines.
Maybe you’re asking for more of what the curcumstances can provide and asking too much to yourself. I mean, maybe you can find a corner of your craftworld and make it simple but with the clear goal of enjoy whatever you manage to do. I wish you can find comfortable soon.
Answering to the topic, after such a long life crafting, my environment knows what I do, so there’s only nice words and little surprise. I value what I do and I demand as I can to myself. Self confidence is very important, loving oneself is an important thing to give to others, it also helps being emphatetic and conscious of being a drop of the One.
However, as many years as have gone, is my mother who still comes every now and then telling me: I met a friend the other day, I was wearing this or this other thing and she saw it and said it was really beautiful. And I told her, oh is my daughter who made it, she makes so beautiful things… moms! ![]()
I work in a restaurant without a specific dress code so I always wear the shirts I make. This morning I had a lady say wow, I love your shirt, can I have it?! I said, Thank you and yes, you actually can because I made it!
She and the 2 ladies she was with were very excited and said they’d be in touch to place an order! I gave my information to 3 people and got information from one of their husbands to help me work on a website! My favorite so far though was a lady I met in the grocery store a few months ago. I was wearing a shirt I made that says “Faith over Fear” and I was quickly trying to find a bottle of salad dressing. I saw her walking my way and backed up to give her space to walk by. She looked at me and said oh my gosh, I love your shirt! I told her thank you, she started to tear up and apologized. She said she had been going through a very difficult time and had spent the morning praying and telling God that she really needed to see some kindness out in the world and as soon as she read my shirt she felt that was the message she needed to see at that moment! We started talking, I offered to make her a shirt for free as we were both holding back tears in the salad dressing aisle sharing our stories about how God is so good! It made me realize just how easy it is to use my crafts to share the word of God with others and make new friends along the way! ![]()

Unfortunately I don’t have many friends IRL which makes it difficult. I have my LOKLIK family and that’s enough for me. The friendship I’ve made with you guys seems just like family and I’m grateful. I learn a lot from you all
We’re all here for you.
