Tiny Kiss-Cut Stickers to Organize Home Life

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a tiny crafting idea that came up while trying to organize some household stuff and reuse leftover materials from previous cuts

I love finding ways to make the most out of every scrap, and this one turned out pretty cute (and useful!). Here’s how it went:

I have a small binder with the most used pages from appliance manuals, along with recipes and random bits. Every time I needed to check the washing machine programs, I had to dig through the divider tabs… so I wanted to add some tiny stickers to help me out.

Also, I’ve been thinking about how to make the most of all the leftover pieces from my projects. Yesterday I was playing with the marker and my Crafter, and since this paper can’t go through the printer again, I figured maybe I could use the blank areas to draw something with the pen and make small stickers — which I’d also use for things like home organization.

So I got started!

The plan was to draw with the marker and then cut in a second pass. Totally experimental.

:joy: It turned out an Epic Fail! hahaha

:woman_shrugging: Sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn…

Not only did the pen shift 6mm up or down randomly (?) (which ruined the alignment), but it also outlined areas as outer lines (icons need to be drawn differently). Plus, it’s too small for this type of marker — even with a 0.4 tip Stabilo 88. Oh well…

Still, I won’t give up and will keep trying ways to use every little bit — nothing goes to waste here. But today I needed those stickers for the binder. So I designed these tiny sheets of kiss cut stickers using waterproof and weatherproof printable vinyl (some are for outdoor use).

I also added extra icons for stuff like the fuse box, key box, switches, plugs… (also left some blanks) basically everything I could think of that might come in handy at my parents’ house — I’m giving them the sheets after keeping the 5 I need.

Here are the cut settings I used:

  • Brand: Other
  • Force / Blade: 450 / 45º for Kiss Cut, 550 / 60º for Die Cut
  • Speed: 5 for Kiss Cut, 3 for Die Cut
  • Passes: 1 each

They turned out so cute! Now I feel way more organized hahaha

Hope you like it, and that we can all learn something from it!
