1st you need to tell us the model of your machine as well as the model of your pc/laptop

As @timmytation says we need details to help you. Anyways try another computer if there´s another one around or to borrow. It worked for me. I have troubles with my flying desktop computer but my old laptop does the job perfectly. Don´t panic, I even killed mine and came back to life.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out.

To fix the issue, we suggest the following steps:

  1. First, please find a computer that does not use an AMD processor.
  2. Then, use the latest version of the firmware update tool to do the update. You can download it here:
    LOKLiK

After this, your machine should be able to upgrade normally through Bluetooth on your phone next time.

Feel free to ask if anything’s unclear or if you need help during the process

You can’t update firmware with an iPhone. You need a USB connection. If you IPad doesn’t have it you can’t.

Hi there,

Updating firmware can be tricky, so don’t worry, you’re not alone in facing this issue. Here are some general steps you can try:

  1. Ensure Compatibility: First, verify that your device is compatible with the firmware you’re trying to install. Check the manufacturer’s website for compatibility requirements or device-specific instructions.

  2. Use Manufacturer’s Software: Often, manufacturers provide their own software for firmware updates. Make sure you’ve downloaded the official software from their site, as third-party tools might not always work correctly.

  3. Check Connections: For both iPhone and laptop attempts, ensure that your device is properly connected. Try using different cables or USB ports, as faulty connections can disrupt the update process.

  4. Disable Security Software: Sometimes, antivirus or firewall settings can block firmware updates. Temporarily disabling them might help (just remember to turn them back on afterward).

  5. Follow Instructions Carefully: Ensure you’re following every step precisely as written in the update guide.

If none of these steps help, consider reaching out to the customer support team of the device manufacturer for further assistance. Good luck!

Same problem. Tried main PC which is an AMD, app and the flashtool, neither work. Tried with an iphone… app says it installed OK but the iCrafter still shows version 04. Finally after reading forum posts I tried and Intel i7 based laptop… Neither the flashtool not the app can update.

:eyes: mine it is, that might be why I have to dip into my laptop. Then Loklik should advise on it somewhere (did they? did i missed it?) and that should also be fixed. AMD is very common, maybe around 30% desktops…

Is it always a problem or just sometimes? whyyy?

So… I finally got this working… Two hours of my life I won’t be getting back
The software - both the Studio AND the Flashtool STILL do not work with AMD processors but they also don’t work with at least some Intel processors
Tested on and AMD 9800X3D Windows 11 - didn’t work, either said failed in Studio or didn’t get past 1% in the flashtool, tried MANY times, rebooted and so on.
Tested on iPhone 16 PRO MAX - App said it was updating and proceeded to 100% but failed. Tried the procedure four or five times.
Tested on older i7 INTEL Windows 10 laptop - didn’t work in either Studio or the flashtool.
Tested on Intel NUC computer. i5 CPU. Windows 11. This worked!
Loklik need to update their software urgently. Most users would give up and send the unit back as faulty.

You´re absolutelly right, not everybody dares or knows how to keep on when it fails. I´m glad now it´s working.

The good news is that the customer service told me that once the firmware is successfully updated using the new flashing tool, the firmware can be updated using the Bluetooth of the mobile phone or iPad.
