SO TODAY I WAS DETERMAND TO PRESS A 12OZ KIDS TUMBLER IN THE ORIGINAL TUMBLER AUTO PRESS BUT AS WE ALL KNOW THE 12OZ SKINNY TUMBLERS DO NOT FIT IN THE ORIGINAL OR IN THE a200. WITH THAT SAID, I WAS ABLE TO USE THE 2MM AND THE 4MM MATS FROM THE A200 IN BOTH THE AUTO TUMBLER PRESSES AND PRESS THESE KID TUMBLERS FLAWLESSLY AND VIBRANT AND BEAUTIFULLY.
IVE NOW MADE TWO OF THESE TUMBLERS AND THE RESULTS ARE GREAT. WITH THE ORIGINAL AUTO PRESS YOU JUST NEED THE 4MM SILICOM MAT INSERTED IN THE PRESS WHILE ITS PREHEATING AND WITH THE A200 YOU WILL NEED TO INSERT BOTH 2MM AND 4MM MATS WHILE PREHEATING MACHINES THEN PRESS TUMBLERS AFTER MACHINES AND MATS ARE ALL PREHEATED.
Wow this is really cool to know. Thank you so much for sharing
@BellethehowtoGuru happy to share! I didn’t consider them not fitting in either auto tumbler presses upon ordering the case and it hit me soon as I took one out to test out that they didn’t fit and was determined to not have to bring my huge oven up from the garage! And those mats was sitting right in front of me and the light went off instantly! The mats !!! They work amazingly in the original auto tumbler press 4mm was perfect for these tumblers and needed both mats in the A200 with max pressure!
Thanks for sharing
I bought 3 mats but didn’t fit so I printed many mini Tumblers and I just turned them around and they came out great.
For the 20 oz I don’t turn Them as they fit perfectly.
@Marino , I think they might sell these mats . I would ask! They work so great for these tumblers in the auto tumbler press making it so easy to press them in one step!
Looks great! Thanks for sharing. This makes me wonder if the A200 will work on a 17oz bullet tumbler.
I will search for them and check the sizes I have they’re definitely needed ![]()
