Where Did the Edit Button Go?

"I woke up ready to dive back into my Halloween project in “My Zone” at Ideastudio—only to find the edit function has vanished! I’m already frustrated by the lack of autosave while working in Canva, and now this? I’m not comfortable publishing to the library without making final edits. Can anyone explain what’s going on @admin?

Here’s what I discovered! To edit your work, you’ll need to click “Publish to Library”. But before you do, make sure that “Share to Community” and “Publish Work” are unchecked while you’re still editing. Then save it as “Private”. This helps prevent duplicate entries in the Inspiration category and keeps everything neat and organized.

WTH?! So.it is just a word switch to avoid confussion publishing unwillingly, that creates a new confussion? :joy: please @admins, give this feedback to the dev team:

They just need to flip the default option here, save as private being the default.

That’s all!

I noticed this but haven’t worked with idea studio long enough to know there was ever an existing edit button. I’ve just been hoping for it to not accidentally delete my canvas this whole time

I don’t like this change, it makes it a bit confusing.

So I’ve been playing around with it and you can click on the add to canvas button and go to the canvas and edit the project without having to publish.

Click the 3 dots at the top of your saved project

Then click add to canvas

Then click go to canvas with the pop up message or click the top canvas tab and your project will be in the canvas

Hi all, the software has been updated today with some feature upgrades and adjustments. We’ve taken note of your feedback and have already shared your suggestions with the product and R&D team. They will evaluate and further optimize the functionality and operational logic.
