It would be cool if we could add an ir laser to our machines. Any plans?

The Loklik iEngrave isn’t a modular laser system like xTool or Ortur. The laser head isn’t swappable, and there are no upgrade modules (20W, IR, etc.). If Loklik releases anything more powerful, it would be a whole new machine, not an add‑on. The only accessories you can use right now are things like a honeycomb bed, rotary attachment, air assist, or risers, but not new laser heads.
Edit to clarify: The laser head on the Loklik iEngrave is removable, but the machine isn’t designed for IR. IR modules need different power, firmware, optics, and safety systems. The current engraver can’t support IR as an add‑on.
If Loklik ever releases IR, it would be a new machine, not an upgrade module for this one.
