Y Axis not moving/rumbling after rotaty attempt

Hi- ive only had my laser for a few days and tried out my rotary tool today. That was a TOTAL bust and have no idea why it won’t rotate on the rotary, but that’s for another discussion. I tried to go bsck to use the laser normally (unhooked the rotary, replugged into y axis, all of that). But now when i try to do anything, it rumbles extremely loudly as well and bumps around and doesn’t move on the y axis. I have updated firmware, I’ve tried all resets, and nothing. I spent a lot of money on this and am extremely frustrated right now! All of the “tips” ive seen everywhere else in the app have not worked. I’m at my witts end here :sob:

We’re here to help, and we won’t leave you hanging. Once we have a few more details, we’ll do everything we can to get this resolved quickly.

Let’s rewind to the very start of your iEngrave setup—just to make sure we’re not missing anything sneaky. Here’s what I’d love to double-check with you before we dive into troubleshooting:

:mag: Device & Software
What device are you using (computer/tablet), and which software version is running your iEngrave?

:wrench: Laser Module Position
Where was your laser module originally mounted before the rotary attachment came into play?

:electric_plug: Cables & Connectors
After removing the rotary, did you recheck all wiring—especially the cable connections? Sometimes a loose plug is the culprit.

:jigsaw: Bottom Frame & Door Sensor
Did the bottom frame get reinstalled, and are your door sensor connectors fully seated and intact?

:arrows_counterclockwise: Assembly Reset
Is your iEngrave fully restored to its original configuration—no rotary, just the standard setup?

Once we’ve got all of that confirmed, we’ll jump into laser troubleshooting with a clean slate.

Hi there, for this kind of issue, it’s best to reach out directly to the support team at support@htvront.com so they can help you troubleshoot properly. One thing that really helps is recording a short video showing the machine behavior, including how it sounds when it rumbles, how it moves, and how everything is connected on the Y axis. Clear visuals of the wiring and setup can make it much easier for them to pinpoint what’s going wrong and speed things up.

Hope they can get this sorted for you quickly.
