Cheer Ducks

Project Overview:

My daughter recently had her AllStar Worlds Cheer Competition, and we wanted to make sure she and her team had their support duckies. I used my LOKLiK iCraft to cut out glittery silver HTV and the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press 2 to press their names to the ribbon/bow.

Materials:

  • Cutting machine - LOKLiK iCraft
  • Glittery HTV
  • Heat resistant transfer tape
  • Ribbon for the bows

Process:

  • Using the text feature on the LOKLiK IdeaStudio, add the names of each cheerleader.
  • Change the font to your preferred style. I selected a “cursive” font so their names would be in one piece rather than letter by letter.
  • Resize to fit the ribbon height as well as the length as it is placed on the “tail” of the bow.
  • Send the HTV to cut, ensuring that you mirror the names prior to adding the cut to the task list.

  • Weed out the excess HTV
  • Preheat the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press 2, 300 degrees Fahrenheit, pressure 90lbs and 15 seconds.
  • Using a heat resistant transfer tape, place the weeded HTV on the ribbon close to the edge of the tail.

Here are the cheer bows prior to attaching them to the ducks.

Wonderful! You are done and have a cute cheer duck!
