Way to go, Rinsky! Nice streak!
Have fun organizing!
Still no crafting day. Needed to review the gremlins for their 4th quarterly test tomorrow
Girl, nobody’s gonna know but you.
It still looks
!
Happy Snow day Sunday…… I am not in the areas that have 18 inches already but we can get 9-12 inches this afternoon/ tonight. So staying warm and indoors.
No creativity today either.
I woke up to a refrigerator that didn’t work this morning, so we’re glad it’s not summer yet but something like refrigerator temperature outside. We rushed to get everything in boxes and out in front of the house and the things in the freezer could luckily be in the one we have in the garage. And then we’ve been looking for a new one so that tomorrow we can order it from a dealer nearby with good service and good prices.
Ok, now I’m jealous! ![]()
Still looks great, so all is good.
‘It’s not a mistake, it’s a feature!’
I call those ‘character marks’. ![]()
Day #12:
It has been a busy weekend for me and The Crafty Caravaner. Between designing new projects and sharing ideas with the community, there has been a lot happening.
One of the highlights was finishing and sharing a new shadow box design called “The Pirate’s Golden Riddle.” This piece is inspired by one of my favorite adventure films and features a stained-glass style scene filled with hidden treasure, a pirate ship on the waves, a mysterious cavern, and a watchful skull guarding the riches within. Designing layered shadow boxes like this is always a fun challenge because every cut and color choice helps build depth and bring the story to life.
I also shared a new topic in the community titled “Setting Yourself Up for Success at Craft Markets: Asking the Right Questions Before You Apply.” After seeing several recent discussions about vendors encountering heavy competition at markets, I thought it would be helpful to create a detailed guide about the kinds of questions we should all be asking event organizers before committing to a booth. Hopefully it will help others avoid surprises and choose events that are a better fit for their products.
Now that the weekend is wrapping up, I’m looking forward to catching up on a little rest before diving back into more crafting and design ideas.
Day 13: Renn Faire spent with good friends. Only 2 more weekends left. Sure will miss it. Nice weather too. Not too hot, not too cold. Next weekend is supposed to be in the triple digits … for those down under 100 is your 38c.
Sunday feeling blessed
Monday morning go away
Wake me up when it’s Saturday. ![]()
Day 14 Today’s handmade moment is wondering how we went from a record amount of participants in the Valentine’s Day challenge, to so very little participation in the Paper and Easter Craft challenges. Come join the Easter Craft Challenge! Your chances of winning are very good, considering there have been only 4-5 people participating. I’ll see you over there. Have a fantastic week, makers!
You have an amazing talent and set of patience for these lovely projects!
I agree
@Samantha_Bryant I enjoy these fun projects bc it makes my crafting better and I enjoy seeing and trying new stuff I get to see here on these challenges. I completely understand the hustle of life and finding time like when I was sick I didn’t get to complete one week.
I feel that maybe people may believe they won’t win with their work! And if that would be the case I am here to say my project won and I felt like I would never win anything with it bc I am my own worst critic and I’m new at this but some how I DID!
Just by trying and I’ve learned so much from everyone’s entries and miss seeing them all !!
Oh, what a shame there aren’t many people participating. As for me, I don’t really celebrate it, since where I live, Easter isn’t marked with decorations, eggs, bunnies, or chocolate… We have Holy Week holidays, and the celebrations are more religious in nature.
Day 14: Today we’re finally getting a little bit of sun. I’m going to take advantage of this to make some Father’s Day cards, since in Spain Father’s Day is celebrated on March 19.
Today I am excited. We’re going g to have a little family trip with the grands.
