That’s good to hear, thanks.

I don’t have one yet. Was trying to win a gift card to buy one. It’s a bit pricey.

You only need the blade, not the housing. You can buy cheap generic blades if you’re struggling to source the OEM blades.

Oh that would be awesome because I wasn’t able to find the less expensive ones that fit. Would you mind sharing your source & thank you!

Another beautiful God given day. It’s only May & we are in the 90s. This weather is crazy. Staying cool in my studio with the fan going. We don’t have central air, we use portables at night because during the day it’s still cool in the house due to the fact we live in the woods. What’s the weather like in everyone elses neck of the woods?

You should be able to up the force to 8-8.5, speed 5 and it should cut just fine with the standard 45° blade. Or do what I do, set the force to 7.5 and run 2 passes. And always do a test cut on a small star or square before trying to do a whole big design when working with new materials.

And if you want a 60° deep cut blade, here’s a link to a set with 30°, 45°, & 60° blades. The 60° deep cut is not the same as the 60° deep point blade, as explained in my post - 10+ Advanced Things to Know When Starting with the Loklik Cutting Machine 2

Well I feel empty I haven’t been on here much with no weekly contests and even with the past few I feel like everyone has disappeared :ghost:! I hate it this place has been a safe place during some difficult times for me can’t wait for everything to be up and active again !

I was just thinking the same thing. :hugs: Maybe everyone is waiting for the software update before starting new projects. It’s also vendor season everywhere so those who sell are super busy booking these events for the summer.

Ive noticed we will have moments of quietness in the community but it usually picks up :heartpulse: Hopefully thats still the case this time too

I’d said the same about a month back. The community seems to have extremes of either very quiet or very active.

I think a lot of people are parents (not me) and dealing with end of year stuff so they rent on I think the summer may be even quieter

Thank you God for another beautiful day.
I made this using florist stones glued onto a piece of acerate. Blue on one side purple on the other. I think it needs something in the middle but after days of looking at it I can’t figure out what it needs. I tried to cut out hearts from the rainbow producing window cling but that failed. Any advice would be appreciated. Good or bad I’ll take it.

No advice just admiring how pretty this looks :heart_eyes:

I’d never heard of florist stones. They look fab.

I don’t think you need to add anything as it looks great as is. I suppose it will depend on what you plan to do with it. If it’s just hanging then I’d leave it alone.

Crazy day today helping wife and daughter plan baby shower stuff. Ended up with a lot more than I thought I’d be making, so I’ve got a whole list of things to cut and stick, etc.

Thank you. You might call them something else. They are glass beads without a hole usually found in glass vases or planters.

Good morning all,
Thank the good Lord for another day. Much cooler, 60s F, cloudy & rainy. Much appreciated since we were in the 90s for the last 3 days.

I have to show you all my daily challenge. We have 2 cats both are attention whores. To make a long story short, my lap is never empty. Meet Maisy who is sometimes Crazy Maisy & sometimes Lazy Maisy.

Transfer tape on a budget. Picked this tip up from another crafter & was surprised at how well it worked! I am using a lint roller. Yep a lint roller & it works like a dream! Never going back.
