Today I’m working, working, working. Working on my main job. Working on things to make sure my mom is taken care of. I’m also working on some projects. I think I’m ok. I’ve checked a lot of items off my list. I almost forgot to post. I’m here now.

Day 8: My fridge broke down last night 
but got a loaned mini fridge. Been sublimating the slates all afternoon, but ran out of space to cool them down so im taking a break haha.

I have been a busy bee crafting shirts today for my craft village shop at the end of April, I’m trying to make some that are unique and different! Along with my DTF press shirts!

Yeah, I don’t eat out, anymore. I sometimes DoorDash, but I can only eat from one restaurant, a Chinese cafe. I love their shaggy dog roll, but I’ve realized they must use the same makisu (sushi roller) as they do with the sushi that contains cream cheese, so I can’t eat it anymore, either. I stick to the shrimp and broccoli combo with egg drop soup. My mom was told I was allergic to dairy when I was a baby, and I had to have a special formula. However, as I got older, I ate and drank dairy, and never had any reactions. Then, about 8 years ago, I started breaking out. Through process of elimination, I found it was that dang ol’ dairy allergy coming to bite me. I sure do miss mac n cheese and pizza.

Day 7. Went on a little outing with my dad and brother today. I wanted to take some good pictures but I was slightly terrified! Skyline drive is very narrow and steep road over looking canon city and it’s a very scary drop off on both sides and I don’t like heights.

I’m happy I finally got my iCraft to cut correctly after changing my printer settings to “fit to size,” and then I made my first laminated paper graduation fan.

I know the feeling. I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 38, so I really miss KFC and curry sauce dishes from Chinese restaurants/takeaways. 
When I started my working life in 1987, in the laboratory at a biscuit factory, my job was testing flour. This included collecting and analysing the filter residue, known as overtails, from inside the flour silos. I probably inhaled more wheat flour dust in that time than I’ve been exposed to since. As you can imagine, I was ill all the time.

Day #8:
Oops… I forgot to check in yesterday morning, but I do have a pretty good excuse. I was enjoying some sunshine by the pool during our last couple of days here in Florida.
Today is our final day before heading back to Georgia. Tomorrow will be a long 8–9 hour drive, but I’m definitely looking forward to getting home and settling back in. After being away for a bit, I’m ready to get back to some crafting, designing, and turning a few new ideas into projects.

Awesome, Katrina! I’m happy you got it to cut properly. I knew it had to be those settings. That was the same reason mine wouldn’t read the registration marks.

I also miss KFC! That was my first job at 16. I miss the food, not working there.

Day 9 Got my business cards order fulfilled, yesterday. Today, I’m going to start drawing some of the requests I received in my What Would You Love to See in the Library post. Going to start with a good ol’ pencil, then, Friday, my new drawing pad for my PC will arrive, and I’ll start creating the digital art/SVGs. So excited to draw. It’s been a couple months since I picked up a pencil! Having withdrawals.

Day 9: Today’s another birthday at home, so I’ve prepared a snack and a cake with a quick topper. I hope she like it. 
I also saw that I won a gift card in the paper-craft-fun challenge and I was very excited.
