Hey friends! I’ve been feeling inspired lately and want to start drawing some new design elements for the library. Before I dive in, I’d love to hear from you.
Are there any specific designs, motifs, phrases, or artwork elements you wish were in the library but haven’t seen yet?
Think:
- Icons or illustrations you’ve been searching for
- Phrases or sentiments you’d love to craft with
- Seasonal or holiday themes
- Faith-based or inspirational elements
- Crafting tools, hobbies, or decorative styles
- Anything you’ve wanted but can’t quite find
I want to draw pieces that you actually want to use, so your ideas will help guide what I create next.

What a great idea! Honestly, most of the time I look in the library for designs that can be layered onto vinyl or paper. And I’m disappointed to see very pretty designs that are meant for the print and cut option because they’re images with lots of colors, details, and fine lines.

In general, what I look for most, and can’t find much variety or options in, are basic things like leaves, branches, trees, flowers, plants, animals, vehicles… and the shapes within the program itself are limited.

I usually make animal-themed things for babies, so I look for animals with a more childlike and cute aesthetic.

Oh can you make some better paper flower templates for new paper crafting people lol I looked for a rose 
and a daisy 
and I couldn’t find any that looked good!

Thanks so much for your kind words! Yeah, I’ve also been thinking about that. I definitely am going to try to create more rolled flower designs. I’ve never actually drawn them before, but I don’t think it’ll be too difficult to do.

Just remembered, Shirley, there’s a cool daisy that’s already in the library under Yellow 3D Flower.
Of course you can use whatever colors you choose, but it does make a cute daisy or even sunflower. Here’s one that I made with it.
There’s also this one:
If you stretch it to make it wider before cutting, it makes a cute daisy.

I have been in contact with the girls about the artist collaboration program, and some issues have come up that need to be resolved before the program can be launched. I can’t tell you when it will be launched, but I hope it will be soon.

Flowers and plants would also be cool.Maybe if you have the time and inclination you could also make something like a forest,mountains or beaches for shadowboxes.Sayings would also be cool.Preferably for standard cut ,so it can be used for vynil and paper. Thank you for your efforts
