My Elves are making their debut! After a few concepts and prototypes, I have finally completed some of my Christmas Countdowns. The disk in back rotates to show how many days left till Christmas. The magnetic range on the right allows a quick visual on how the elf sees your behavior throughout the day and the most fun part - the face. Dual sided to be happy on one side, angry on the other side and remove the face entirely to get a ‘You did what?!’ face. I have a craft fair in a couple weeks and hoping these do well.

Wow, it may have taken you a while and hard work prototyping, but it seems the classic project you enjoy the most figuring out how to solve it.

I do. I am not a trendy person so I really have no desire in doing generic tumblers or batch loads of the same item. I would rather create something that could be passed on for generations and be that item brought out and displayed that evokes memories and feelings. I have items from when I was a kid and from when my kids were little and they still spark conversations and memories that I hope will never be lost.

I absolutely agree with that point of view. I mean, surely you make this or the other less meaningful craft here and there, things that come across our lifes and we know how to, so we make them. But the main joy comes with that kind of creations that can stay with us a whole life and beyond.
