This greeting card is part of a 12 x 12 cm square card and envelope set, designed with care and minimal aesthetics. It’s made with high-quality white cardstock and includes a matching handmade square envelope in coordinated colors. On the front cover, a clean and mysterious look is created by a small cutout element that reveals part of the illustration inside, a small sneak peek of what’s to come.
Inside the card, there’s a simple but evocative illustration printed on photo paper and mounted on a thick white base. In this case, a little hot air balloon floats upward from the lower left corner, drifting toward a dreamy purple moon in the upper right. The handwritten phrase “Fly me to the moon” adds to the whimsical feel of the scene. The color palette flows from soft pastel purples in the balloon to deeper, space-like violet tones in the moon, enhancing the dreamy transition between earth and sky.
To complete the presentation, I added a decorative ribbon with a seamless pattern inspired by the featured element: the moon. I couldn’t resist including this poetic, uplifting idea in the beta testing, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
