My Grade 8 son had a MAPEH project about T-shirt printing featuring a chosen country. He picked China and told me the design he wanted. The layout also includes the Chinese word for “Chinese Shadow Puppetry.”
The project required at least two color tones, and it was perfect timing because I had just received my Mirror HTV in Gold and Silver. We combined those with black HTV to make the details stand out beautifully.
Since my mini heat press couldn’t cover the 11x11-inch design, I used a regular iron instead. It was actually my first time pressing on a shirt! There were a few missed weeds and slightly burned spots (hehe), but overall, it turned out pretty well.
It’s not perfect, but it’s special. Still learning and practicing, but I’m proud of this little collaboration with my son.
