It’s always interesting to see what comes up in the community —
sometimes it’s about how a feature works, sometimes it’s a little login confusion, and other times it’s just one of those “wait, is it just me?” moments.
Here’s a little round-up of what people have been wondering about lately. Maybe something here sounds familiar.
IdeaStudio things

I uploaded an image but it didn’t turn into a vector — it just showed up on the canvas?
Yep, that’s how it works now.
The flow’s been simplified — images now land straight on the canvas when uploaded.
If you need cut lines, you can still get them like this:
→ upload the image
→ use Background Remover
→ choose Standard Cut or Print then Cut

Text can’t be curved?
Not yet — but it’s already on the roadmap.
It’s one of the features to look forward to in future updates. -
Why can’t I save my project? It says something about 5MB…
At the moment, projects need to stay under 5MB. Support for larger files is being looked into, so that might change down the line. -
Why can’t I combine image and text?
You can combine layers and text, but image + text combo isn’t in yet. We’ve been hearing feedback on this though, and it’s being considered.
iCraft-related stuff
- What should I do if the firmware update fails?
We recommend using a computer with an Intel processor for firmware updates.
If your machine still powers on: connect it to an Intel PC and run the update.
If it doesn’t power on: connect it to an Intel PC and use the firmware tool to reflash the machine.
Community questions

Tried logging into the app using my community email, but it says password error or not set?
You’ll need to reset your password in the app — just use “Forgot Password,” then set it to match the one you use in the community. That should do the trick. -
Why can’t I invite more users?
The Point System has recently been updated.
To encourage genuine interactions and maintain a good experience in the community, we’ve made some adjustments to how user invites work.
