FAQ Roundup | Vol. 3 – A Recap of April’s Common Topics

Hey LOKLiK Fans!

As part of our monthly FAQ roundup, we’ve pulled together a few recurring questions from the past few weeks —
from offset settings and material tweaks to calibration tips and language support.

Here’s a quick look at those moments. If anything sounds familiar, hope this helps.

:brain: IdeaStudio stuff

  • “Can the offset feature be improved?”
Yes — the layer offset tool is already being refined behind the scenes.
It’s currently going through testing and should be included in an upcoming update.

  • “I like using My Space to organize projects, but can we move things between folders or overwrite existing versions?”
Really appreciate the feedback — both of these features (moving projects and overwriting versions) would definitely make things smoother, especially for those working with templates.
The request has been passed along and is being considered in future planning.

  • “Clicking ‘Add to Task’ doesn’t work anymore — is it broken?”
It was addressed in v2.4.0, so if you haven’t updated yet, try heading to Help > About LOKLiK IdeaStudio and check your version — updating should get things working again.

:gear: Machine-related

  • “Can we expand the cutting material list for Crafter? What about material management?”
Both are on our radar — the material page is being looked at for future updates,
and material management is also under consideration for the Crafter.

  • “I’m new — any tips for smoother Print-then-Cut calibration?”
Totally get it — calibration can be a bit tricky at first.
Getting your material and paper size aligned often makes a big difference.
We’ve got a post that walks through some helpful tips:

:speech_balloon: Community-side

  • “The event points are taking a while to arrive.”
That’s been improved — the process is now a lot smoother,
so you should see your points show up a bit quicker from now on.

  • “There are posts in different languages — how can we communicate better?”
That’s a great point — a built-in translation feature is currently under consideration.
If it moves forward, it would allow users to translate posts directly in the thread.

That’s all for this round —
a small collection of things we noticed, and steps we’re taking to keep making things smoother.

See you in the next one.
