Might I offer a tip to save your vinyl? Before weeding, I will use scissors to cut as close to the design as possible, then weed. That way, there’s not a ton of extra vinyl being thrown away. Those small pieces of vinyl can be used for smaller projects or even doing test cuts. Here’s a topic I posted that gives some tips on how to make the most of your materials. These are just some tips I wish I’d known when I first started. I threw away a lot of useable vinyl. I like to pass them on to others.
