Oh, Christmas Tree… I’m absolutely in love with ours this year. I went with a Blue and Soft White color theme, and the way the lights blend together creates this gorgeous purple glow when everything is lit up. To make everything pop even more, I tucked white poinsettias throughout the tree and paired them with a matching blue Christmas tree skirt. We’ll be adding our train around the tree later, which will complete the whole look beautifully. And those Christmas wood ornaments I made? The glitter effect catches the light so beautifully—it sparkles evenly across the surface and makes the whole tree feel extra magical.
Well, I haven’t put up a Christmas tree in 5 years, so here’s a photo I found of my tree from 2016. It looks the same every year, so, if I had put up a tree this year, this is what it would’ve looked like. Although, I would’ve added the mini stockings I made, last week, as ornaments.
Wir haben einen Kinder Weihnachtsbaum. Dieses Jahr keine Kugeln, dafĂĽr Wichtel, Strohsterne, Nussknacker und platte Lebkuchen Ornamente sowie Kinder Basteleien ich liebe ihn
Beautiful decorated tree @rinsky and nicely done baubles @Dorthe (one of them made my son laugh because he saw his brother’s name on it)
Our tree will not be up and decorated until the 23rd of December (it’s traditional not up in most households until the 24th). Our only theme is as bright and colourful as possible. We have handmade ones, heirlooms from my husbands and my childhood and lots of let’s say non traditional Christmas ornaments
Hope all of you can have a peaceful Christmas
I have a small horde of children, there are some made by me but many are their creations or gifts from family for them. No theme, we let the kids put whatever, whereever and i think in the end, it looks great!
I’m a traditionalist when it comes to my tree. My kids get an ornament from St Nick each year and we’re at the point where I can’t fit them all on anymore. It’s still morning here so it doesn’t shine as much in daylight but here’s my tree and the ornament I made for myself this year with all our names on it. I left run to add a few kids in the future for my son and his soon to be wife.
Your tree sounds absolutely stunning. That Blue and Soft White combo with the purple glow must look so dreamy, and the poinsettias are such a perfect touch. I can only imagine how magical it’ll be once the train is added. And those glittery wood ornaments? Chef’s kiss.
