🥰 Friday Fun | Valentine Love Tic-Tac-Toe

Hey everyone! Happy Friday!

This week, I saw a Valentine tic-tac-toe box shared in the community, and it made me think… love can feel a lot like a game of tic-tac-toe:

sometimes you land on a  sweet “win,” and sometimes you land on a :x: challenge or knot you didn’t expect.

But when two people keep choosing to stay, communicate, and move forward together, those moments (both the easy ones and the messy ones) will eventually connect into a line… and become your shared future. :sparkles:

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, let’s take a moment to share the ups and downs of love, in whatever way feels right to you. (Love can be romance, family, friendship, or even self-love. All are welcome here.)

Let’s share!

Share anything you’d like, big or small:
 A love moment you’ll always carry in your heart
:x: A moment that taught you something about love
:love_letter: A short message you’d write on a Valentine card (funny or sweet!)
:gift: If you’ve prepared a gift or made a Valentine craft already, feel free to share a photo too.

Photos, stories, all are welcome. :two_hearts:

:gift: Reward

Everyone who joins will earn 30 Cheers, and 3 lucky participants will receive 100 Cheers each.

If we reach 30 participants, we’ll pick 6 participants to receive 100 Cheers.

:date: Ends: Monday, Feb 9

Can’t wait to read your love moments and see your Valentine vibes!

We became friends seeing each other at other Archery events and then it turned into a friendship set on fire the first time we kissed I knew he was my other half he literally took my breath away. 2 years of friendship and maybe 6 month of dating we got engaged. We had planned a 2 year engagement and around archery competitions so we could budget and save getting thing a little at a time I made my our decoration printed invitation it was simple and amazing.
I made this in procreate and sublimated it on a metal sign.

love this. When my children were younger, I gave them a Valentine’s Day gift every year.

When they grew up and had children of their own, I started giving gifts to my grandchildren. Currently, my grandchildren range in age from 21 to 3. To this day, I still give them Valentine’s Day gifts. Some are local, and some I have to mail.

Pictured is what I have created. I will be adding candy. My children, my daughters-in-law, and my grandchildren will all receive a gift.

I love my family, and I love making them feel special—because they are so special to me.

Aww this is so sweet and heartwarming. “Giving you the shirt off his back” turning into a love story is honestly the cutest kind of fate. Love really does have a way of showing up when you least expect it. :kissing_heart:

Since I’ve already shared my love story I want to share some wisdom gleaned from 44 years of marriage. In this world of fast and disposable you need to nurture and cherish your relationships. It doesn’t matter if it’s a spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend, neighbor or another relative. Take the time to get to know each person. Learn who they are and what makes them “tick”. Figure out what makes them special. When bad times happen and you hit a snag in your relationship with them draw from your knowledge to find out what’s really going on and find it in your heart to put a bandaid where you need to to make things better. Be the bigger person and be willing to fix the problem.

This does NOT apply to an abusive situation. You need to walk away from abuse.

In all other circumstances realize that some days you may not like the person you are dealing with but you will always love them and love wins out every time.

I love this! How many kids and grandkids do you have? I have 2 kids and 5 grandkids. Only 1 girl among them but they all live far away from us.

March 5th will be my husband’s and my 21st wedding anniversary. February 9 will be 22 years since we made our relationship official. It’s been a wild ride, that’s about all I can say about that. :joy:

Here are some Love related bookmarks I’ve been working on, today and yesterday, trying to get my iCraft to make a perfect Print Then Cut. I would LOVE to not have to use scissors to trim off the white parts where it was either too far left or too far right, or too far up or too far down. At least, it’s consistent with being inconsistent. :joy:
