Hello!

just wanted to drop by and say hi! we just got our iengrave and I’ve never done anything with a laser before. I wish there was a more comprehensive startup guide especially regard to setting the power levels and the speed. if anybody has any great resources they can recommend I’d really appreciate it

I have done a lot by playing with it seeing what darkness I like as I go. Lower speed and up power for darker engravings. I have like things engraved with a speed of 5000-6500 for the most part.

Welcome! I do believe there is a chart of settings included on the SD card you should have gotten with your engraver. That is a great place to start to dial in your settings. It’s a .pdf file called parameter table.
