Let’s kick off with Home Inspiration

This holiday season, I wanted to add a personal touch to my home decor—something bold, joyful, and unmistakably merry. So I rolled up my sleeves and created this Christmas reverse canvas, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
The Inspiration
I’ve always loved mixing classic holiday motifs with playful design elements. For this piece, I wanted something that shouted “Christmas cheer” while still feeling modern and handmade. The idea of a reverse canvas—where the canvas is removed from its frame, decorated, and then reattached from behind—felt like the perfect way to elevate a simple craft into a standout decoration.
Design Details
Bold Typography: The word MERRY takes center stage in large, green block letters with a shadow effect that adds depth and drama.
Golden Glam: Christmas is written in a glittery gold cursive font that sparkles under the lights, bringing warmth and elegance.
Festive Silhouettes: Above the text, Santa and his reindeer fly across the sky in classic black silhouettes, adding movement and magic.
Starry Accents: Scattered black stars dot the white background, giving it a whimsical, wintry vibe.
Red Frame Revival: The original canvas frame was painted a vibrant red to tie everything together and make the whole piece pop.
This piece now hangs proudly in my living room during the Christmas season, instantly setting the tone for the season. It’s more than just decor—it’s a reminder of the joy of crafting, the magic of Christmas, and the beauty of handmade art. Plus, it’s a great conversation starter when guests come over!
I am going to share the sign I shared in the post yesterday again.
I pressed a close to size glitter htv then used a craft knife to cut extra off sublimated design then added on wood snowflakes I painted using htvront paint markers.
I want to make this with my laser engraver cutting out the words I have not decided if I want it all round or not yet but it’s on my list if things I want to make in a different way.
I decorated this LED candle using a transparent sticker using Htvronts transparent printable vinyl sticker, I needed to add a fall touch to my decor in my living room and I love the result!!
Day 1 - Home Inspiration. One of my favorite home projects was this sign I made for our front door. It is a great way to welcome our guest to our home while including my favorite character, Mickey Mouse. Love how it is a modern farmhouse style sign.
I wanted a way to get my family to help sort their laundry so it was easy to put in the washing machine, so I made these baskets with instructions on what to put in the baskets and it works great.
My Smile Tea Box
A cozy wooden tea box decorated with elegant seasonal vinyl tones , two cheerful yellow flowers (I just can’t resist adding flowers to everything I make ), and a touch of fall with tiny orange and green leaves.
Perfect for my peaceful tea moments while crafting something special.
