Improvised Foiling with iCraft

I was curious as to how we can use foiling with the iCraft. Since the Foiling Kits aren’t available yet in my region, I purchased this Cricut Compatible Foiling Kit and some Nail Art Foils from Temu.

The Foiling kit was a bit loose on the blade holder of the iCraft, but with a little magic from my handy dandy Masking tape, I was able to make it fit the blade holder.

This was my 1st time trying out foiling. I like thinking of workarounds when I encounter a predicament, hence this trial of foiling .

So far I think only the contours can be traced with the foiling, I’m thinking of using the Inset function to fill-in the foiling if that I would like to foil something that’s not a single line drawing.

I used my mobile phone Idea Studio app for this experiment
