I’ll be honest — this little cupcake basket started as the perfect excuse to make cupcakes. I wanted a sweet treat, so I built a sweet project to go with it. One thing led to another, and suddenly I had a 3D Easter basket, handmade flowers, and a cupcake that absolutely earned its moment. And if you’re wondering… the cupcake was delicious!

Story: [I have a special friend who is in a health care facility that is going to get a very nice Easter basket that this cross will adorn. She has been a friend of mine for a very long time. We square danced together for decades …. Yes …. Decades! She loves the pastel , spring colors that I used in the cross and will really love the candy and snacks I will put in the basket. Living in a health care facility is hard and this little gift will brighten her day.]

Story: This adorable Easter sign is the perfect way to guide little adventurers toward the fun. Printed with bright, cheerful eggs and a playful green arrow that reads “Hop This Way,” it brings instant festive charm to any garden path, market stall, or backyard celebration. The soft white fabric and wooden dowel give it that handmade, rustic feel — like something lovingly crafted just for the season.

Story: This charming Easter greeting card is bursting with personality, thanks to its trio of quirky, lovable bunnies. Each little character peeks through its own pastel‑coloured window: one sporting peace‑sign glasses, one holding a big pink bow, and one rocking a green cap and sunglasses. Layered cardstock in soft Easter hues gives the card a polished, dimensional look, while the playful bunny expressions make it impossible not to smile. It’s the perfect handmade touch for gifting, decorating, or adding to your seasonal craft collection.

[Story: Ever since I saw Cory’s shadowboxes I knew I would love creating these fabulous pieces of art. This one starts with a picture of bunny love straight from the library. Then pieces were recreated to add dimension to the rest of the pic. Lastly a ton of petals were meticulously cut and shaped by hand to add to the beauty of a sweet bunny romance.
These little layered eggs were inspired by the quiet joy of spring — the way small details, soft colors, and simple moments can come together to create something bright and hopeful. Each layer felt like a reminder that even the tiniest pieces can build something beautiful.
I am in complete awe of all of the submissions for the 2nd week. You have all put so much creativity & talent into your projects! I’m glad I don’t have to pick the winner because you all would win 1st prize. Good luck everyone!

Theme: The joy of spring. Love watching all the colors of spring wake up. It truly feels like you can breathe in the colors. Having my morning Dandy blend, on our balcony, listening to nature and taking time to be thankful with a mug that reminds me of who really is in charge.

Story : I wanted to create something to present small gifts, like candies, in a nice way. A small basket seemed like the perfect idea—it holds quite a bit. Bring on the Easter Bunny!
I used cardstock in various weights, double-sided foam tape, laminated film for the window, and hot glue.
Hey, @Franziska_Huber, did you publish and share this to the IdeaStudio? I was going to add the link for you, but it’s not popping up for me on mobile or PC version, nor is there a post in the Inspiration section of the community. Just want to make sure the entry is valid and gets counted.
@Jodie, Franziska’s post here is saying that it’s being reviewed, and won’t publish to the IS. Can you look into that for us? Thanks so much in advance.
This Easter Explosion Box was inspired by the joy of small surprises — the way spring quietly unfolds layer by layer. I wanted to create a piece that opens with the same gentle delight, revealing color, warmth, and a little moment of wonder tucked inside.
