Here is my easter-craft week 3 entry 1
Theme: Helllo Spring cake topper
Ideal studio : See What I've Been Creating...

Story:
I didn’t make this “Hello Spring” topper just for a cake… I made it for a feeling :blossom:

There’s a local nursing home not far from me, and I kept thinking about how long winter can feel when your world gets a little smaller. Days start to blur, seasons don’t always feel like they change the way they used to, and sometimes all it takes is a tiny burst of color to remind someone that life is still blooming.

So I sat down with my LOKLiK iCrafter, opened up Ideal Studio, and started designing something bright… something that couldn’t be ignored. I chose bold pinks, fresh greens, and sunny yellows on purpose. I wanted it to feel like stepping outside on the first warm day after a long cold stretch.

As I layered each piece of that 65 lb cardstock, gluing them together one by one, I kept picturing the faces that might see it. Maybe someone who used to garden every spring. Maybe someone who baked cakes for their family for years. Maybe someone who just needed a little reminder that joy still shows up… even in small, unexpected ways.

When I placed it on that beautiful two-layer cake, it felt like more than a decoration. It felt like a message. A soft, colorful whisper that says, “You’re still here. And there’s still beauty waiting for you.”

That’s why I made it. Not just to decorate a cake… but to brighten a moment, spark a memory, and bring a little piece of spring inside where it’s needed most. :tulip::yellow_heart:

I have my mother in law living with me getting to have her family with her through this hard struggle at the end of life. I feel for the ones in home whom have no one family forgets them or they have no family at all anymore! So I do this to spread love and cheer! Everyone needs someone or something to look forward :eyes: too and even if it’s a slice of cake with bright colors to bring the days alive I’ll do it!

Here’s my easter-craft week 3 entry 2
Theme: Home sweet Home spring honey bees :honeybee:
Ideal studio link: See What I've Been Creating...

Story: This one came straight from the heart :honeybee::yellow_heart:

I made this “Home Sweet Home” sign thinking about my step daughter-in-laws and the beautiful life they’ve built together with their honey bee farm. Every little detail—the bright sunflower, the gentle dotted bee trail, and the sweet little bee—reminded me of the love, hard work, and patience it takes to care for something so special.

Bees don’t just make honey… they build, they nurture, they create something meaningful together—and that’s exactly what I see in them. A home full of warmth, purpose, and sweetness.

As I worked on this piece, I kept imagining it hanging in their space, a small reminder of how proud I am of them and the life they’re growing—one filled with love, just like their hives.

Home really is sweetest where love and a little bit of honey live :yellow_heart::honeybee:

Here’s my easter-craft entry for Week 3 number 1
IdeaStudio link: See What I've Been Creating...
Story: [
The shadowbox hung quietly on the wall, catching the soft light of early morning like it had something to say—if only someone would listen long enough.

Inside it, a tiny world waited.

The potting bench stood at the center, worn in just the right places, as if years of invisible hands had leaned across it. A small shovel rested nearby, its metal dulled with imagined use. The rake and hand rake lay side by side like old friends who didn’t need to speak anymore. The trowel, ever dependable, leaned against a pair of gardening boots that looked as though they had just been slipped off after a long, satisfying day.

And then there were the flowers.

Not yet planted, they sat in patient clusters—tiny bursts of spring color suspended in time. Their petals seemed almost alive, caught in that fragile moment between waiting and becoming.

Every night, when the room fell still and the world outside softened into silence, the shadowbox came to life.

The boots were always the first to stir.

“Well,” they’d say with a quiet creak, “another day gone, and still no garden.”

The shovel would give a low, thoughtful hum. “Gardens take time. Even waiting is part of the work.”

“But we haven’t even begun,” the trowel would chime in, eager as ever. “The soil hasn’t been turned, the roots haven’t stretched. We’re meant for more than this stillness.”

The rake, older and wiser, would gently shift. “You think this isn’t part of it? Look at the flowers. They aren’t worried.”

All eyes—if they had them—would turn to the blooms.

The flowers never rushed. They simply existed, soft and certain.

“We are ready,” they seemed to say, “but readiness doesn’t mean urgency.”

One evening, a breeze slipped through an open window and brushed against the glass. For just a moment, it felt like the world outside reached in and touched the small, frozen scene.

The boots straightened.

The shovel gleamed faintly.

The flowers seemed brighter.

“Did you feel that?” whispered the hand rake.

“Yes,” said the bench, for the first time speaking at all, its voice deep and steady like roots underground. “It’s coming.”

“What is?” asked the trowel.

The bench paused, as though listening to something far beyond the room.

“A beginning.”

From that night on, the waiting felt different.

Not empty, not stalled—but full. Like soil before the first seed breaks open. Like hands hovering just before they begin their work.

And though no one outside the shadowbox noticed, inside, everything had already started to grow.

I made this Shadowbox to represent the wonderful spring planting season. I made the frame on my laser and then cut all the components from cardstock. The wood texture as well as additional decoration were made by tearing a crown apart and using the swirls to form cutouts. I put it all together …. After losing most of it because of a glitch in IS. So happy I finally got it all back in and cut out and put together. This is my favorite Shadowbox so far. So proud of this one!

Here’s my easter-craft entry for Week 3 Number 2
IdeaStudio link: See What I've Been Creating...
Story: [
Lila had three Easter eggs left in her basket.

One for her baby brother.
One for the bunny.
And one… she wasn’t sure.

She stepped into the backyard. The little brown bunny was there, and beside it, a tiny baby bunny, wobbling on small feet.

“I brought you something,” Lila whispered.

She set one egg down—but instead of candy, inside were small carrot pieces. The baby bunny hopped forward and nibbled happily.

Behind her, her baby brother giggled. “Mine?”

Lila smiled and placed an egg in his hands. He held it tight like treasure.

Now only one egg remained.

Lila thought for a moment, then opened it. Inside were a few more carrot bits and a tiny flower sticker.

She gave the carrots to the bunny and gently stuck the flower sticker on her brother’s shirt.

The baby bunny bounced. Her brother laughed.

Lila smiled.

This time, everyone got exactly what they needed—and it made Easter feel just right.]

Here’s my easter-craft Week 3 Entry 1

IdeaStudio Link: See What I've Been Creating...

Story: I finally sat down to paint one of the drawings I created with my iPaint, and it was the most relaxing moment I’ve had in a while. Since the machine handled the sketch for me, all I had to do was add my design to the screen, let iPaint draw it out, and then enjoy the simple joy of painting. Using gouache for the florals and metallic watercolor for the egg felt so peaceful, and the awesome paint brushes that came with my iPaint made the whole process even better. It was a happy little Easter scene that reminded me how good it feels to slow down and create.

Here’s my easter-craft week 3 entry 3
Theme: spread your wings with Spring
Ideal studio link: See What I've Been Creating...

Story:

In the next few days—or maybe weeks—my sister will be coming home to Pass. We don’t know exactly when, and the uncertainty weighs heavily on me. Our relationship hasn’t always been easy; there’s been strain, distance, moments I wish we could undo. Yet as I sit here thinking about her return, one truth is crystal clear: family is precious, and life is fragile.

In the blink of an eye, everything can change. Words left unsaid, hugs left undone, memories left unmade—they all vanish if we wait too long. I don’t want our past misunderstandings to overshadow the love we share. I want to hold onto every laugh, every story, every simple moment that reminds us why family matters.

Her return is a chance—not just to reconcile, but to cherish. To lean into each other, even if it’s uncomfortable and it’s only for a day. To say the things we’ve held back and forgive what needs forgiving. Life doesn’t wait, and neither should we.

I’ll be ready to welcome her, with an open heart, because tomorrow is unfortunately never promised, and every moment together is a gift.
