IdeaStudio link: [Project | Beautiful and Unique Mom’s]
Who is it for: [Moms]
Story: [I did these paintings for my Mother’s Day vending event to celebrate the uniqueness of moms.
On Mother’s Day, the town held a “Most Beautiful Mom” contest, but no judges showed up—only children.

One by one, they took the stage.

A little boy pointed to his mom’s paint-stained hands. “She makes our world colorful.”

A girl hugged her mother’s tired eyes. “They stay open when I’m scared.”

Another child traced the silver in her mom’s hair. “That’s from worrying about me.”

By the end, every mother wore a different crown—made of drawings, laughter, and quiet sacrifices.

No two looked the same.
Every single one was beautiful.

Here’s my made-for-mom week 1 entry 1
Ideal studio link : See What I've Been Creating...
Who this is for : me, mom, mother in law!

Story: I never really understood how strong the word “Mom” was until life started stretching me in ways I didn’t expect. Being a mother myself now, I see it… the quiet strength, the late nights, the way love shows up even when you’re running on empty. I feel blessed beyond words to carry that title.

My mom has always been my steady place. The one who showed me how to keep going, even when life felt heavy. She didn’t just raise me, she built me… piece by piece, with patience, lessons, and love that never wavered. Because of her, I know what it means to stand strong and love harder.

And then there’s my mother-in-law… a woman who came into my life and loved me like her own. She had a way of making people feel seen, safe, and cared for without even trying. Losing her has left a space that can’t be filled, a quiet ache that shows up in the little moments. But even in that grief, I feel gratitude. I got to know her. I got to love her. And I carry pieces of her with me every single day.

Grief and gratitude walk hand in hand for me now. Some days feel heavy, like I’m holding memories that still sting. Other days feel warm, like a hug I can’t physically feel anymore but know is still there. Through it all, I remind myself… I am blessed.

Blessed to be a mom.
Blessed to have been raised by one.
Blessed to have been loved by another.

And even though one of those loves now lives in heaven, I know she’s still holding us together in her own way… just like the message says.

IdeaStudio Url: See What I've Been Creating...
Who is it for: This one is for me.
Story: This is the first mother’s day in 5 years I was able to acknowledge since mom’s passing. So since she had no use in Heaven for these pieces, I thought I would carry on her morning schedule using them.
What inspired the project was my mom, my best friend whom I miss very very much. This set will be comforting.

Here’s my made-for-mom Entry 1 for Week1!
IdeaStudio link: See What I've Been Creating...
Who is it for: Mom
Story: This painting is a long‑distance Mother’s Day gift for my mom. She loves flowers—especially the dark purple and fuchsia peonies from our yard — so when I found this peony design in the IdeaStudio Library, I knew it was perfect. I used the line‑art version to speed things up and finished the sketch in under 26 minutes. I mostly followed the color guide but gave one peony a twist in her favorite colors, adding extra brush strokes for a soft 3D effect. I’m still choosing a sealer, but I already know she’s going to love it.

Just a quick reminder that each project can only be submitted to one activity and can’t be entered into multiple events at the same time.

You can choose whether you’d like to join the Color Craft event or the Mother’s Day event, and please kindly remove the post from the other event thread.

:information_source: absolutely adore :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: this I remember going outside at night with my grandma :older_woman: and catching fireflies in mason jars. And keeping them unfortunately till they passed not knowing as a kid they couldn’t live in the jar :jar: lol!

My gram always made me leave the jar outside when we went back in and she would unscrew the lid on her way in. In the morning I had an empty jar to start all over with that night.

IdeaStudio link: [Project | 3d Mothers Day suncatcher]
Who is it for: [A gift for a very special mother out there!]
Story: [ I got the idea to do a suncatcher to take advantage of the beautiful Arizona sun. I’ve never put together a sun catcher this way before. I want to have plenty of choices for the Arizona dads and kids to make a mom’s day wonderful.

A mother’s beauty goes far beyond what the eye can see—it lives in her endless patience, her quiet strength, and the way she gives love so deeply and uniquely. No two mothers are the same, and that’s what makes each one truly irreplaceable.
