Ok, let’s keep discarding things…
And with more than natural light (good natural light)? I still see the chance that the laser is not receiving enough ligtht.
About the paper… besides glossy or matte have you make sure registration marks are clear and dark?
Can you post a pic of your calibration sheet or printed to cut sheet?
