Hello friends and beautiful community, as you may have noticed in Idea Studio we now have a profile with our projects shared with the community, it is one more step to grow our community and our art, but I have noticed that here we have a legal vacuum so to speak, and is that we do not have an option to share our profile with a link for example, we must bear in mind that there are people to whom we want to show our profile and who are not users of the brand and therefore do not have the program or an account to see our profile, in my case I have a group of crafters from my country who are not loklik users but whom I want to introduce to this world, they come from using other brands and several of them have already requested their Icraft because of the suggestions I have given them, so I wanted to share my profile with them but when I go to the profile I see that there is no direct link to our profile, this is something that the team should work on because it is a way to make the community, our profile and the brand better known.
The opposite happens if we open or share a project, where a link is provided to us. I think it should also be linked to our user profile. What do you think, colleagues and the crafter community?
I see what youāre aiming to do, and itās such a great idea to introduce others to LOKLiK! I donāt think the IdeaStudio profile is really designed for public sharing (especially to people without LOKLiK software or machines).
But the Community Forum is! You can share your projects there, and LOKLiK gives us a public invite link you can use: HTVRONT | LOKLiK Community
Just in case it helps in the meantime ā the Community Forum profile does have a shareable link. You can copy the URL like this:
Itās not the same as IdeaStudio, but it might still be useful for showing off your work and connecting with people outside the platform.
Thatās probably the best way to let non-users browse your work and get a feel for how far LOKLiK has come before they commit to a machine.
Yes, I understand what youāre saying, but the community interface is a bit complex. Sometimes I get lost here with so many options and menus. Itās not the same as showing a clean profile with only designs and projects. On other platforms, they give you a profile with which you can share projects with other users via a link, without needing to belong to or enter a forum, as is our case. For example, on Cricut, you can enter my profile just by having my link, without needing to download anything or search the community. Thatās what I meant.
This is an interesting and maybe not that easy question. At least I see difficult to make an app profile public, as that is not āthe internetā. It may be interesting to get an url with our shares here, on the forum, as they also mirror here (user>category āInspirationā).
In the midtime, you could use the link of the topics you started:
The listing is more or less the same, with every category, not only Inspiration category, as I suggested before.
Directly in the app, they need to get the app and register. Here, this is public, they wouldnāt need to belong, not even register.
I understand the points that you suggest that you could see each other here in the community but it is not something very practical for someone who is not familiar with the environment of this community, I do not know if I understand when I give clik to the link you give me from my profile it does not show a profile as shown in the capture that I sent, something more similar even instagram profile with sequential images, on the contrary I would appear familiar with topics and topicicos in which I have commented or participated, and not show me more serious
I believe this is in the works still. I think they will be releasing things in stages. At the moment I think the focus is on just making sure the project sharing is working as intended. I do remember they were looking into making our profile sharable and also making it so people could follow each otherās profile so when they shared a new project they would see it in their notifications. You may just have to be patient, but in the meantime, you can do as others have suggested.
Yes, I know that everything is at the step but it is an approach that must be worked and more if they plan to implement the counter artists thing, I think that having a profile with our art as it is seen on the platform or the program should be a priority before that, because we already have it on the pc app and on the mobile app but something web is missing with which to share our profile with all our art, I hope and soon they achieve it
I hope and I have faith that it will be so, and I see many mistakes in the community forum, one of them is that sometimes I am in a section and when I want to go to another it does not leave me and it always stays in which I was already at the beginning, and I have to restart the page to get out of that section
