Roll holder kit Tutorial by Marin

As I am almost the only one on the community to own the Loklik roll holder kit I decided to show you how it works
I have glitter htv as smart materials so our project is going to be with Htv.

The Materials

:eight_pointed_black_star:Laptop / Tablet / Mobile
:eight_pointed_black_star:Loklik Ideastudio
:eight_pointed_black_star:Loklik Icraft
:eight_pointed_black_star:Smart Material (Htv)
:eight_pointed_black_star:Weeding tools
:eight_pointed_black_star:Impress mini 3
:eight_pointed_black_star:Teflon sheet
:eight_pointed_black_star:Primary material (Velvet prayer mat)
I started with Ideastudio and uploaded my design as it was in Arabic I had to upload the names resize them, and from the right panel I chose Smart materials
Here I have the option to choose the length of the material, so I chose 500mm.
And the only Material available in the settings is glitter heat transfer vinyl

I opened my roll holder kit and placed it on the Loklik Icraft.

I opened the metal holder put the htv inside and closed it again.

Then placed the htv under the Icraft rollers and insert it as you insert the cutting mat. Then pressed start and it starts to cut.
P. S (of course don’t forget to mirror)

After the cut process is done the htv stops and I cut it with the blade inserted in the roll holder.

(unfortunately this time my machine disconnected and uploaded the htv all the way out, but in the previous experience it went well, I will post a video in the comments)
After that I started weeding and cutting the names, name by name.

Now it’s time to finish the project.
I put the velvet mats and placed the names where I want them to be.

Turned the Impress mini3 on 165° for 15 to 20 seconds.
I coverd each name with parchment paper and started to press with my mini.
(hold the turn on / off button for a few seconds to start the time.

After the time finishes the mini peeps and then I removed the carrier sheet slowly to see if all the parts were done correctly (ass the prayer mat has a form with spaces in between)

And now take a look to the finished product

Yes I hope so and they should be working on smart materials coz they only have one and that’s it.
In my opinion before releasing the holder kit they should have made varieties of smart materials.

Everything is wonderful there Marin!!! < 3333 Thank you for sharing!

I have a little curiosity… Have you also got the crafter? Does it fit on it? The lid is very similar, if not the same. Maybe it´s not the same width, or is it?

Yes I have the crafter but I didn’t try it on it. Even if it fits there are no settings available for the crafter to use it.
I don’t know why even the cut settings are so limited for the crafter
