Sticky Mat Problem

How can you prevent your papers stick in the mat…I also tried to put the shinny part of the paper facing the mat

Then I used the Light Blue Mat(Light Grip) I scraped some of the adhesive and it works on mirrored cardstock but not on ordinary paper

Try dabbing it on a towel or on your clothes to lessen the stickiness before putting in your material

For cardstock, you should use the blue colour mat or a light grip mat. With all new mats I always give them a couple hugs on my shirt. You can also use cardboard and place that on your mat a couple times to reduce the stickyness of the mat. Also to help get your paper off the mat you can flip the mat over and start bending the mat away while pulling your paper off. Don’t bend the mat to much as you can fold the mat and break it.

Yes it’s always better to use an old mat and if you don’t have one make the blue mat less sticky by sticking it to your clothes  and then after it gets non sticky you can place the paper or cardstock with painters tape check out my tutorial I spoke about it
