Sublimation on ceramic mug by Marin

Hello dear friends, today I’m sharing with you a step by step tutorial on how to make a
Ceramic mug sublimation

Materials

Laptop / Tablet / Mobile
Software to design your print images
Sublimation printer
Sublimation paper
Paper cutter/scissors
Heat resistant tape
Butcher paper (not always necessary)
Sublimation blank / mug
Tumbler/Mug heat press
Heat resistant gloves

In my case I’m using Loklik sublimation paper and Tumbler press​:o:

step by step tutorial

1. Make your design ready on any software you’re comfortable working with .

2. measure your mug and resize your design to fit in the space you wanted to be printed.

3. print your design using a sublimation printer

4. cut the paper in a neat way

5. clean the mug with alcohol

6. place the printed paper on the mug, be careful to put it straight.
   

   

7. tape the paper firmly with the heat resistant tape.

8. turn on your heat press
   My Settings for this one were
   195° Celsius for 300 seconds

9. insert your mug carefully in the heat press

10. press the start button (it should be green🟢)
    Your mug should look like this centered in the heat press.
    

    

11. After the time is over wear your heat resistant glove and carefully remove the mug from the press and turn it off.

12. wait completely until your mug is cold before you peel it

13. peel off the paper to see the magic.

Usually yes but on AliExpress it’s way cheaper and plus htv ront has uk distribution centre here so I don’t know why we still have to pay
