Talky Tuesday | Ever cut something a bit different?

Hello LOKLiK Fans!

Survived Monday? Or was it just me barely making it through lol.

Anyway, we’ve made it to Tuesday—let’s unwind with a little crafty chat.:scissors:.

Sometimes we see folks in the community asking each other, “Hey, can Cutting Machine 2 cut this?” or “Has anyone tried this with the Cutting Machine?” Which got us thinking: a lot of you have probably already tested more materials than we can imagine.

The Cutting Machine 2 can easily cut through 100+ materials using our premium blades—things like leather, soft magnetic sheets… even the thicker stuff.

So out of all the things you’ve tried,

:bulb: Have you ever cut something with our machine that’s not so typical - or just something you didn’t expect before?

Seaweed maybe? lol just kidding… or not?

Drop your answers in the comments :speech_balloon:—tell us the material and what you made with it. We’ll pick the 3 most interesting replies next Monday and send out 100 points each. :gift:

Until another Tuesday—stay creative. :tada::partying_face:

I’d love to hear the most interesting materials cut. I havent ventured into using unique materials but I love how the iCraft cuts the crafting plastic acetate without any issue. That is even using the regular blade! Its so good!

Tried to cut EVA foam glittered sticker on my crafter once. Used it to make a name backdrop for my dauhter’s baptism

Can you share your settings for this?

I wonder if it can cut a 250 microns hot laminated sheet or a pvc sheet.

Yes of course, I made this quick guide some weeks ago and it shows the settings I used for the plastic acetate.

I love how the crafter and I craft can cut the holographic cardstock easily, normally with other brand I had to try mellion times to cut it properly but with Loklik even though there’s no specific material for it yet it cuts it perfectly

I haven’t cut anything unique yet I guess but I love how versatile the machine is, from paper to leather to magnetic sheets, foam, shrink paper, stickers, etc. it can do a lot of things like cut, draw, score and foil maybe etch or engrave too if we had the right kits. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Beautiful baby and a beautify banner!

This reminds me on how my other machines have such a hard time cutting Bazzill cardstock. It is such a great paper for cake toppers but so thick that it would not cut very well on other machines (at least for me). I used the iCraft and I was able to cut it much more smoothly.

I’m just a bit busy the past few days and I actually missed crafting. I’m still thinking what different craft I can do with my iCrafts☺️
