Hi Community!
It’s Tuesday again, which means it’s time to chat.
We all love crafting — but let’s be honest, not every step is pure joy. Some parts are just… ugh. The waiting, the weeding, the mess, the mishaps.
What’s that one part of the crafting process you secretly wish could disappear?
Is it weeding tiny letters that never want to come out clean? Waiting for your heat press to cool? Picking glitter off your shirt for the rest of the week?
Whether it’s a mild inconvenience or your eternal crafting nemesis, we want to hear it. Misery loves company, right? And if you genuinely love every single step — congrats, you’re officially a chosen crafter lol.
Drop your answers below — we’ll randomly pick 3 replies to receive 100 Cheers as a little something to make up for your crafting struggles
See you in the thread
I know it’s a fundamental part of the process, but if I could skip the part of testing the assembly of a digital file, I definitely would. I like to spend a lot of time designing on the computer and having it cut, but the assembly tires me a bit. I would also skip the post-assembly cleanup; I make a lot of mess and spread a lot of things while assembling my files.
It’s not that I would skip it, but I wish the process were faster:
The whole sharing process, from photos to descriptions, and posting to the app and social media. That’s what makes it hard for me to be more active on social media (besides being fed up with it, since it’s a big part of my professional work lately). Social media… each one it’s own behaviour…
I enjoy the it too, (above all, the pics part) but I’d like to dedicate more time to design.
“If skipping the weeding step is wrong, I don’t want to be right.”
I design. I press. I slay. I do not tweeze microscopic eyeballs off glitter vinyl at midnight. "Because I love squinting, tweezing, and questioning all my life choices. Bonus points if it rips and I get to scream at the top of my lungs for free.
I’d definitely skip the clean up every time! However I do love coming back to it all beautiful and ready to go! And the anticipation when waiting for new machines to arrive when you order them:flushed:
I definitely skip cleaning my craft room lol until I bring a big trash bag and put everything in it
I would like to skip the calibration for print and cut and the wait for the cut to see did it miss! And of course it misses a mm
I want to skip the cooling time after I sublimate on mugs und Tumblers
I like the cleaning, because it is the moment it is finished and we can enjoy the well done work, get everything back to its place and enjoy our tools and space while thinking on the project we made. Call me weird
The sales pieces, I’d rather someone just give me the order, let me do my thing and they take care of the selling, invoicing and accounting!! Tracking orders when they come in different forums is a nightmare. I’m always worried I’m forgetting about an order.
