We all have that one craft tool we keep thinking about.
Maybe it’s too expensive, too big, or you’ve just been telling yourself “one day… not yet.”
Well—this week, let’s forget the budget.
Let’s say you won the lottery or someone just handed you a craft shopping spree .
What’s the first craft item you’d grab?
Could be a new tool, a machine, or a material you’ve always wanted to try.
No need to name specific brands, just share the kind of thing you’d love to add to your craft space

If I won the lottery I would buy a 3D printer and an engraving machine. I’ve been eyeing them for so long but I don’t have the budget yet. I wanted to try 3D printing and engraving but right now I’m content just watching videos from social media of someone doing those .
If budget wasn’t an issue, I’d definitely go for a 3D printer.
I already have a Loklik iCraft, a mini heat press, and a mug press—which are all essentials in my little creative corner at The Daylight Prairie. But adding a 3D printer feels like the next exciting step. It opens up a whole new world of possibilities—like custom keychains, cake toppers, craft organizers, and other small personalized pieces that can bring more charm to my products.
It’s one of those tools that can turn simple ideas into real, functional designs—and I’d love to explore what I can create with it!
Easy one, a laser engraver. There are so many things I want to make and bonus, my hubby would love one too–it would make us both happy!
I want to engrave tumblers, cut wood to make signs and personalized gifts, engrave on different types materials, etc… Really the crafting possibilities are endless. I think this would be a wonderful addition to my crafting resources!
I already have many work tools and some that I never imagined having like lasers or a large format die cutter, but like other colleagues I think that a 3D printer would be at the top of my list because I have so many things to do and that would take a backseat to crafts. I am a collector of dolls and I personalize many of them or make characters from scratch from cartoons or video games and sometimes getting ready-made pieces is chaos and having them match the size of the action figure, so that would be a guilty desire that I have at the top.
I don’t usually want for much, but lately I’ve been eyeing off the phone heat press. It’s amazing how well it works, so clever for something to use at home!
