💭 Talky Tuesday | The “One Day I’ll Buy It” Craft Item

Welcome to the community @Petra_Rushing! DTF is a good choice.

If budget was not an issue… I would not just pick 1 crafting item, lol! But my top choice right now would be a DTF printer. I have been working on many personalized gifts/projects lately and have been getting my DTF prints from a local supplier. It would be nice to be able to whip out the projects quickly on my own without having to weed out vinyl or layer multiple HTV to get the details for the designs. My other crafting items would include a UV DTF printer and 3D printer.

I do not seek much, but I sincerely hope to acquire both a DTF printer and a UV printer in the future to support the growth of my business. I have observed that a significant portion of my orders stems from corporate gifts and tokens, which has further affirmed the need for such equipment.

Upon discovering that Loklik offers the DTF Iprinter, I told myself that I would definitely purchase it not immediately, but when the time is right. I have been searching for a suitable DTF printer for quite some time; however, the cost of such equipment in our region remains quite prohibitive. :money_mouth_face: That said, the Loklik Iprinter is indeed something I intend to invest in soon.

I have had two items I have thought could be fun to add to my crafting master at none but like to try it all and do the best I can craft items. The first one was an engraver that I now have and has been so much fun! The item I don’t have now and could really be fun is an embroidery machine. I have a sewing machine that can do small simple letters but that’s not the same as being able to do images and such.

**edit to add a dtf printer intrigues me but scares me because I don’t see myself using it enough to have proper upkeep so that’s more of a fantasy to scared to own myself craft item.

For a long time my one day I´ll buy was a display tablet, back in the old days when only the W brand was the only one available, with their our of reach prices. But there came a brand that started to produce hight quality display tablets for a forth of the price. Since some time later I’m a happy display tablet owner.

Something similar is happening with all those machines Loklik is producing. Two years ago it was unthinkable for me to own the cutting plotter I have now, which allows me to craft that many things I’m only exploring right now.

Next thing in line would be a printer. I was very happy when I got my tank canon photo printer. I´m in love with it, but I would love to have at least an A3 photo printer, an A3 DTF printer or an UV printer to be able to expand the range of serious designs I could make.

I think I’m in printer team too!

I would love to try sublimation printing
If money were no object, my next purchase would be a sublimation printer.
I am saving up for one with the money I earn from my small projects.

My bigger, more distant dreams are, of course, an engraving machine and a 3D printer.
However, I fear these two will remain just that: dreams.

Same Judi, a dtf or uv dtf sounds wonderful but I don’t think I have enough output to properly use it, I worry about the maintenance. Although, I guess if I ever got one, it would be for a business investment and I would have to use it regularly.

If budget wasn’t an issue I’d get the newest htvront auto heat press. I’ve been eyeing it since it released. I would also get the phone press. I like the endless possibilities you can use it for. Sigh…one of these days. Lol

I wanted to buy the DTF Printer but I’m going to talk to my husband first to borrow his brand-new built 2 door extra-large garage shop for it , especially if I will do some mass production.

I also wanted to have my own 12-16 needle home embroidery; I missed to have one for a long time!
