Hello Community!
t’s Tuesday again, time for our weekly chat with fellow crafters.
Let’s open up the craft drawer, both literally and figuratively.
Most of us have at least one thing in our stash that hasn’t seen the light of day. Maybe it made sense when you got it. Maybe you had a plan. Or maybe it just… quietly found its way into the drawer and stayed there.
So what’s something you bought for crafting that’s still sitting unused?
A tool? A material? A whole pack of blanks? Something you were curious about but never got around to trying?
No judgment here we’ve all got that one item we might use eventually (or at least we keep telling ourselves that). And hey, maybe someone else in the replies will have the perfect idea for how to finally use it.
Share what’s been hiding in your stash — and if you’ve recently given something a second chance, we’d love to hear that too!
We’ll randomly pick 3 replies to receive 100 Cheers. Unused or not, every supply deserves its moment, right?
See you in the thread!
Last week’s Talky Tuesday | Scrap It or Save It? was full of relatable moments — from mystery drawers to carefully sorted scrap folders, we loved seeing all your “scrap philosophies”.
Congrats to @Dorthe@Marino and @jana_dori — you’ve each earned 100 Cheers, which will be updated within 2 hours.
Thanks for sharing what goes (or stays) in your stash
Lol, this talkey tuesday was pointing straight at me. I have several items but the top two are a sewing machine w/ accessories and a screen printing machine w/ accessories and lots of ink. I have since moved the sewing machine (still in box) to the garage and been using the screen printing machine as extra counter space.
I have a sewing machine. This one has never been opened. In my defense, I’m reorganizing my craft room. I have a shelf/table that needs assembling. Life keeps happening when I plan on taking the time to finish organizing. I promise I’m going to get to it. I have customers I need it for.
Some dollar tree vinyl from when I first started out with vinyl and didn’t know what I was supposed to get. Have a few of these that I never use due to quality but I might use them for arts and crafts with my kids just to find a use for them.
I have a hat press that I thought I would use. It’s been sitting on my self for about a year and half now. In my defense, I just didn’t like the idea of having to run the hat press back and forth to press my design. That is tiring on the arms. Nope I just couldn’t do it.
I thought maybe I could practice with them lol but they were so difficult to use. I had cricut vinyl that came from a bundle I bought when I got my machine so I just ended up using that for practice.
