Project Overview:
My son recently changed teachers, and I am so thankful that his new teacher is so sweet and caring. He has been so happy to be in her class and I truly appreciate her. Here is an inspirational project for you to make for a special teacher.
Materials:
- Cutting machine
- Template: imported from online
- Paper flowers: either store bought or handmade (search previous tutorials for possible options)
- Vinyl: permanent
- Transfer tape
- Cardstock - 65lb or equivalent for the paper flowers
- Keychain base: these were cut on my wooden laser but similar blanks can be found at the Dollar Tree and Amazon.
Process:
- Assemble each of the flowers to be using on your keychain, make sure they are small enough to fit on your wooden base.
- Add the keychain hardware to your bases.
- Upload your lettering design to your software, resize to fit properly wooden base.
- Once the cut is done, weed out any excess vinyl and using transfer tape adhere the vinyl to the wooden base.
- Using hot glue, add the paper flowers and leafs to the keychain.
Wonderful! You are done and have a beautiful keychain for a special teacher.
