Transfer issue in the design

When I create small text designs like this, I face issues both while weeding out the excess vinyl and during the transfer process. During weeding, the parts that should stay in place sometimes come off with the excess. During transfer, the letters either shift out of place or don’t adhere properly, sometimes remaining on the transfer sheet. I can’t figure out where I’m going wrong. Do you have any alternative suggestions for me?

Two words my friends when you make small texts,
Reversed weeding
Watch how I do the green piece

I agree! Reverse weeding is the key!

You’d also have to consider the surface you’re attaching your vinyl too. Some surfaces don’t allow much adherence making it difficult to stick vinyl on to it like silicone or sometimes those with matte finish.

Yes I was going to write that but forgot it. Apparently the silicone surface is the problem

We need to be reminded that silicone is meant to be non stick, that’s why adhesive vinyls or even htv cannot stick to it

I didn’t know that. Thank you all for telling me. But I’m curious—I see similar products in stores, but they seem more durable. I wonder how they are made. Next time, I’ll take a closer look.

I’ll definitely try this. I’m curious to see the results.

That’s a crafter right there, trying to figure out how things were made especially the labeling :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I’ve experienced that some vinyl is not as sticky and that would also help with small cuts like this on plastic items. Was the vinyl you used “permanent”?
