Let’s talk about the Tumbler press.
Who has it? What’s your experience? Positive negative points! Share everything
From my personal experience I’m loving it
Since I got it I didn’t have any problems all my prints are perfect I do ceramic mugs and stainless steel tumblers. Of course I use original pictures which makes my prints show more accurate and pretty.
The size of the mugs 11 oz
The size of Tumblers 20 oz and less
My settings are 195° Celsius for both
I do thmugs for 240 seconds and if the design has lots of black for 300 seconds
The tumblers for 180 seconds and if you see the press close all the way on the tumbler then you don’t need to rotate it.
But if you are doing a smaller size than the 20 oz you need to rotate.
I bought glass cans, but didn’t try them yet.
That’s my experience with the tumbler press
I hope you share your thoughts and opinions!

Ooo thank you for your in depth explanation on how you make your tumblers and mugs. I really appreciate you sharing what time and temperatures you’re using and what works for you. I personally don’t have one and it is on my wish list( just waiting to see if they release a pastel pink to match my LOKLIK impress) if not then il end up getting the one you have lol.
I wanted to ask, what printer do you use?
I have a sawgrass sg500 which doesn’t print borderless and it would really bug me if I couldn’t do a full tumbler wrap out of it.
I’m using Asub paper and genuine inks.
My pleasure dear, I have scf100
I use Silhouette studio to do my sublimation prints ( I don’t have a silhouette machine I only have cricut and 2 Loklik)
I used to use Asub 125 paper but now I’m using Loklik sublimation paper.
Aww thanks, I have a cricut maker too, looking to get the icraft but need it better then the maker 3 for me to invest. I’m hoping to gather many cheers to buy one to test or fingers crossed to even win one lmao that way I won’t feel guilty hahaha.
But one thing I’m already drawn to is the meatless cutting and the free library. I can’t wait to see what more updates it gets!!
It is cute and quite both the Loklik crafter and I craft BUT the software needs lots of improvement compared to other software and they are working on it I’m sure! To be honest I didn’t succeed to do print and cut yet but willing to put my effort on it.
The mat less cutting is nice yes when you have to cut lond distance it just wastes a little bit vinyl at the beginning and end.
On my Instagram account I do tutorial videos on Arabic and explain a lot about all the machines
Yeah after doing intensive research I found that the majority of crafters were experiencing issues with the software and as disappointing as it sounds I believe it’s only us who have the machine can feedback make them aware of the issues that occur. It’s hard because the brand itself is very good and giving and for a crafter to transition from one brand to another they would need the machines to exceed expectations of the current ones they have.
Currently they are exceeding by having a free image library ( no subscription)
And a marked cutting ( which other brands do offer but only for certain materials )
But at this moment in time from consumer research of my own it’s known that those features alone are not enough for current crafters to transition on to the Icraft machine as some have successful running businesses and cannot afford to have issues with software.
P.s I speak English/ Urdu and punjab so wouldn’t understand Arabic unfortunately but I will still have a look at your tutorials, just leave your @Marino
This is why I haven’t gotten one yet. Both of my cricuts died so I had to pull out my maker 3. I would love an i craft.
Same here I’m going to hold back unless I win one, then I can explore etc
As your name is half assyrian ( Isla) and half Arabic (noor) I thought you can
Don’t have a mug heat press yet, maybe I’ll want one when I have a sublimation printer.
I’m scared of making many mistakes and wasting lots of materials then ending up with lots of mugs and tumblers with upside-down or ghosted prints
First I did some mistakes but I have asked and joined lots of sublimation groups to avoid mistakes. My mistakes were on mugs for the family and friends and I only have one upside down it was thermomug which is black and the print was also black and gold but what made me lose my concentration is that I was live on TIKTOK after that I check twice if everything is right before pressing
lol I go by my daughters name lol my actual name is Iqra which is also Arabic
But I’m British Pakistani and don’t know how to speak Arabic but can read.
I use an air fryer oven ( bought specifically for doing tumblers and mugs when my mug press broke lol) obviously this can’t be used for food at all after.
But I do my mugs in that.
I bought an oven but haven’t used it yet. I may buy another one.
Wonderful instructions and information. I love my tumbler press, it was a bit of a mess when I first started with a couple of fails. But after you get your wrapping taped up tight, right time and temp for you it’s awesome.
Yes dear the taping is very important I don’t just put a small slice on the sides a tight taping is better than a ruined mug
I just started sublimation last week so I definitely have not ventured into mugs or tumblers yet
Good luck dear
Yup better to have to much tape than not enough
Does scf100 print borderless?
