Weekly Update 20 | A Burst of Color, Creative Tumblers, and Fair Rewards!

Hello, LOKLiK Fans! :sparkles:

Another vibrant week has flown by, filled with creative energy, inspiring DIY projects, and important updates. Let’s dive into the highlights—from lively color debates to stunning tumbler designs and improved community guidelines. Ready? Let’s go!

If Your DIY Machine Had a Personality, Would Color Be Part of It?

The color conversation is thriving! Fans like @IslaNoor.a continue to adore the iconic pink machines, while others dream of rainbow-inspired editions. Our pastel-themed designs, such as the soothing Bubble Blue iCraft, are a hit with crafters who seek calm and creativity in their spaces. But the discussion didn’t stop there:

  • Lavender Purple emerged as a top favorite.

  • Requests for pastel mint, peach, and teal machines were popular.

  • Practical creators like @Yoerika83 praised white machines for blending seamlessly into shared spaces.

  • Surprisingly, bold red fans made their voices heard, with some even willing to start new collections for a fiery pop of color!

Your ideas are shaping the future—keep those color fantasies coming! :speech_balloon:

What’s On Your Tumbler? Let’s Talk DIY

From heartfelt Valentine’s mugs to breathtaking floral tumbler designs, the community showcased incredible personalized drinkware projects. Standout moments included:

  • @Marino’s impressive sublimation designs and @Yoerika83’s stunning blue rose tumbler (major inspiration!).

  • Hot tips on converting Epson Ecotank printers for sublimation were buzzing, with HIPPO ink emerging as a trusted recommendation.

  • For budget-conscious crafters, infusible ink sheets proved a popular alternative.

  • Pro tips: Print weekly to avoid clogging issues and never mix sublimation ink with regular ink!

Have a tumbler trick or masterpiece to share? We’d love to see it! :art:

One of the next DIY projects I’m really excited to try with my machines is foiling on cards. I absolutely love the look of foiled cards—they add such a luxurious and elegant touch, especially when it comes to business packaging.

But I’m not just looking to do foiling the way every other competitor does. I want to achieve fully filled, solid foiled text—not just outlines.

Right now, I know this is possible with a printer that uses toner cartridges, but my goal is to make it work with my Loklik machine. I want rich, fully filled gold lettering—no more thin foiled lines!

Maybe if loklik would have the heat activated foil attachment you wish might be achieved

I’ve only tried the line foiling as well using an improvised foil tool since the foil kit isn’t available yet in our region

My DIY Project if I could craft anything would be DTF. I’ve never had a DTF printer so I would love that has my next tool. I would want to see what I can do with it as it’s so versatile. Also, you can get different DTF film, like glitter and glow in the dark film. I would love to give these a try and explore my creativeness.
