Hi Community!
As we step into the first week of 2026, it feels like the community is finding its regular crafting rhythm again after the holiday break. Things are moving, conversations are flowing, and it’s nice to ease back into making together.
What New Year Projects Are Showing Up
@rinsky shared a beautifully crafted Happy New Year 2026 Shaker Card. The sparkling fireworks inside feel perfect for welcoming a new year.
@Mark created a New Years Corner Door Decor. The way different cardstock pieces are layered together is really clever and well balanced.
@BellethehowtoGuru shared a Happy New Year shirt designed to show off a cool, digital age vibe. A fun way to start the year with something wearable.
@Rose_Ann_Dauden posted her very first project in the community, a birthday cake topper made for her son. It’s also her first time making a cake topper, and the result already looks great. A lovely way to kick off the new year
What People Are Talking About
@Katrina_Moore received her D1 DTF Printer and shared an unboxing and first look. Congratulations to Katrina. She also mentioned that “expand” is their word of the year, and hopefully this new machine becomes a big part of that journey.
What the Community Team Is Sharing
@Elena introduced a January activity, Double the Fun, Double the Cheers, adding a little extra momentum to the start of the month.
@Jodie kicked off a new challenge with Join the Home Decor Weekly Challenge. It’s a nice way to begin the year with something made for your space.
Toward the end of last year, a few early hints were shared in HTVRONT Direct | Looking Ahead to 2026. Starting this week, a few of those hints are beginning to take shape. More to come.
That’s the first weekly update of the year.
Whether you’re easing back into your routine or jumping straight into new ideas, it’s great to have everyone here as we settle into another year of making and sharing.
See you around the community.
