I’ve made my own cake toppers! They are fun and much better than candles

I love making cake topper for friends and family, i made my sisters bday topper this year she wanted something girly and unique and playful, i love making this for her, it was laser engraved and cut then hand painted for that unique flair.

Marin has hundred of amazing cakes and decorations, I hope she give us the gift of sharing some of them. She deserves a cake nobel prize

This was my first cake topper ever, and the only one up to this day.

It was before the Project sharing feature in the app so then I reuploaded it properly during the feature beta testing event:

I have a double close birthday next week, I don´t know, but I hope I can have the time to make something, besides my classic and modest cake haha.

I think cake topping and decorations add extra joy and beauty to those special moments, besides all the love the crafters and pastry chefs put into a project that in the end is fungible. :clap:t2:

Awww what a lovely cake @Marino a woman of many talents.

I’m no baker but I do love going out for birthdays especially when it comes to parties, I make personalised sweet treats customed to the requirements of friends and family which lights up the eyes of the little ones. Do have a sneak peak at my work( I know there isn’t much in my page however I’m not good at remembering to take photos/videos until after) TikTok - Make Your Day

Ooooh I love this topic!! I love to go all out with my parties and they have to be themed!! Whenever the budget allows I’ll go big but if it allows for DIY I love that too. This past year I was able to help my sister with her Spider-Man themed birthday party and we DIYed the skyscraper backdrop for pictures

My son’s birthday is coming soon so hopefully I’m able to diy a lot of things for that. I love making customized things for parties. So I know it’s gonna be an exciting time for me

I’m a huge fan of creating my own designs whenever I can. From party decor to invitations, balloons, and more.

Taken 13 years ago, I made my first party decor (for my first born)…

Hahaha, back then I didn’t even know what tools to use, so I made my invitation using basic MS Paint. I still remember how I carefully placed those little circles!

and up to this day, I even making one for my little daughter who will turn 4 this October. This one’s a dome cup holder, though I’m not sure if it will still be her theme since she’s currently obsessed with KDH. Hahaha!

I haven’t done any cake toppers, yet. I did get tasked with making a banner for my granddaughters 2nd birthday a few months ago. The theme was Old McDonald had a Farm so I whipped this out. HTV on burlap - not so much fun and I added a removable name banner that she can hang on her door or wherever. And no farm theme on my watch would be complete without food tags on a barn and a baby goat pillow, complete with a baby goat butt on the back side. She got a matching shirt like this, too.

So I have never really been big on my own Birthday as a kid it was just not fun as an adult when in the navy any reason to be a bit over the top was fun but it was usually a smaller group…as an adult I really prefer to send others Birthday gifts or make them things like tumblers or shirts and such I have used my birthday to cook for people set up a taco bar or a pizza get together and watch what ever playoff hockey game is on.

Birthdays are usually celebrated intimately with family and close relatives and frieds not unless it’s a big milestone especially for kids. Sometimes I bake the cake when I have the time. Here are a few of the cakes I’ve made

Birthdays are a big deal with my kiddos, I am sure I have encouraged them to go all out!!! Lol, that is the crafty DIY mommy I am. We recently had my son’s bday party and I made everything from his cake topper, balloon backdrop, candy gabble boxes, personalized bubbles, personalized cups, utensil wraps, pinata and coloring book. He had such an amazing time and his smiles and laughter during his party made all the work worth it.

:tada: Tomorrow I’m celebrating my 55th birthday — awesome since 1970!

Instead of a big party, I love keeping it simple and meaningful. For me, the best way to celebrate is by spending time with my family, enjoying good food, laughter, and making sweet memories together.

Every year I’m reminded that the best gift isn’t what’s wrapped in paper :gift:— it’s the love and time shared with the people who mean the most.

Here’s to another year of life, love, and gratitude.:sparkles:

My birthday is the biggest event of the year, May 25th, I start my countdown celebration April 30th. I celebrate all month long. It doesn’t have to be anything big. Just acknowledgement of the National Holiday of my birthday.

How I celebrate depends and can vary. Sometimes I want to travel with my husband. I’ve traveled with my best friend. Sometimes I want to gather friends at a restaurant, share a meal and some laughs.

This year, I wanted to be home surrounded by family and close friends. My husband cooked. I created some party favors. My family and close friends came and we had a good relaxing time at my home.

Who knows what adventure is in store next year. Only time will tell.
This a picture of the UV DFTs I used for the party favors for this years birthday.
